    Show your gaming rig

OK guys we havnt had one of these in a while.

    lets see your gaming rig.
we need details so we want to know
    CPU
    Motherboard
    Graphics card
    RAM
    Hard Drive (RAID?) / optical
    Monitor/s
    Keyboard
    Mouse
    Case/PSU
    Operating System

    and some benchmarks
    simple ones will do:
    superpi http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads..._Mod_v1.5.html use 1meg score
wprime http://www.wprime.net/Download/ use the 32m score
    windows experience score: Instructions here

(lets not turn it into a overclocking thread just show what your machine will do normally... dont cheat)

i want to do this so anyone interested in upgrading there system can see how different machines work with differing hardware.

so lets hear what upgrades you want to make

    also lets see some pics
but keep the pics to 600x800 so we dont make a messy thread

    i will go first
I have a slow rig that im waiting to upgrade this year (when we see sandybridge and bulldozer)

CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1055t 2.8ghz 6 Cores ( i do overclock but have put it down to normal settings for the benchmarks below)
    with a Zalman CNP510x cooler
MOBO: Gigabyte, Gigabyte GA-M720-US3 (and AM2+ board that I haven't got round to replacing, cause its very very good)
Graphics Card: XFX Radeon HD 4890 1Gb (pic below has my old Zotac 250gtx)
    RAM: 4Gb Kingston HyperX 800 5-5-5-15
HardDrive: shitty selection of 3 Maxtor 500Gb drives, which seriously need upgrading
Monitor: Samsung 226bw (and Dell 20 as secondary)
Keyboard: Microsoft comfort curve 2000 (I work with my PC too its not just gaming so I sacrifice for typing comfort)
    Keyboard: Logitech G13
    Mouse: Cyborg R.A.T. 7
    Case: Xigmatek Utgard
PSU: Coolermaster 1000W RealPower Modular PSU
    OS: Windows 7 Professional 64bit

    SuperPI: 23.511 seconds
    WPrime: 10.808 seconds
Windows Experience Score: 5.9, because of my crappy HHD's. all other scores 7.4 or 7.6

as you can see, my monitors are not the best so my next upgrades will be my HDD (to SSD) and a nice new big monitor, not sure yet which one but i have some idea's

    CPU: Pentium IV 540 3.2ghz
    GPU: Nvidia Geforce 6800 Ultra
    Memory: 4 Gig DDR - 200 mhz
    OS: Win 7 (32 bit)
    Sound system: B&O Beocenter 7700
    Mouse: Logitech MX310
    Keyboard: G15 (broken/half working)

I dont want to embarrass myself with a super-pi on this computer... It cant even play a 720p video, because the CPU does so many wrong calculations

ps. this is my secondary computer, its from the beginning of 2004.. At the moment the only upgrade is 2gig extra memory, I did use to have 9500 GT gfx card in it, but had to move it to my primary comp.

But it plays Starcraft II... A 6 year old computer, this thing was a beast when I bought it.

ok, goodie goodie, but m8 can we have graphics benchmarks in it as well? seeing as this is a gaming communtiy so we can se how diff setups handle with graphicsthingies? blablabla you know what i mean.
I suggest 1 or two with semisimple settings. I'll put my bench up when i get time over.

well m8, not really my aim with my post. More that its a gaming community and gamers is more than interested in how good certain graphcards is and what they can expect from them. Buying additional graphicscards is what most here has done or would consider even if they bought a complete prebuilt pc, at least so I believe (seems common) Now i wont bug this thread more bout unrelated crap >_<
