If like me you updated your GFX drivers from Nvidia to version 196.75

Then please revert to v196.21 as the 196.75 version is killing some nvidia cards while using

certain applications and games.

Some info here and all over the web now http://blogs.zdnet.com/gadgetreviews/?p=12929

Nvidia has removed 196.75 from their site and recommend reverting to 196.21

Some more info here with links to the 196.21 drivers for several OS's :http://www.techspot.com/news/38131-nvidia-19675-gpu-driver-burning-up-graphics-cards.html

The 196.21 for Windows 7 64bit is here: http://www.techspot.com/drivers/driver/file/information/13075/

and here: http://www.nvidia.co.uk/object/win7_winvista_64bit_196.21_whql_uk.html

Hope this helps some of you, i personally noticed my gfx fan speed increased prematurely but i thought it was coz of prolonged BC2 gaming ;)

I also had 2 CTD's in BC2 yest-d.

Hope this saves some of you, please revert to 196.21 !!

196.75 Alert!
We are aware that some customers have reported fan speed issues with the latest 196.75 WHQL drivers on NVIDIA.co.uk. Until we can verify and root cause this issue, we recommend that customers do not download this driver. Instead, please stay with, or return to 196.21 WHQL drivers. Release 196.75 drivers have been temporarily removed from our website and we also are asking our partners and others to remove temporarily this 196.75 WHQL driver as well.
