Been speaking to Catziggy about dropping NS+CQ, I've now come over to his side and think it would be a good idea, but what I was thinking is whether we could have a Conquest server with some of the original maps in, say one week we could have the large scale maps and then on the next week the smaller city ones.
I have set is up with 4 original maps as the players drop when it moves to Northern Strike.
Maps are :
Tunis
Gibraltar
Cerbere
Belgrade
The server has been busy all day.
I used to hate getting kicked off the server when I didn't have NS, the change will obviously be popular to many as everyone can play non-NS maps. If I want to play NS maps I'll play on the NS server, so dropping/changing the CQ+NS doesn't bother me really :)

NS is on its own and conquest is better on its own but with the new Tampa map out now NS is better left on its own just for those who have bought it and need to do its ribbons and badges lol!

CQ&NS was at its best when we had all the NS, most of the city maps and a couple of the large maps.
I'm assumed we dropped all that for a higher placing in some server rank table.
I don't want to play with people who can't afford / don't want NS.

the problem was the number of people that dropped out when the maps changed from 2142 to Northern Strike.
I am not bothered about server ranking. I just cant be bothered trying to fill the server up all the time.
