Bad Company Tournament

Hi I'm cutchy1981 from [ECC] www.euro-corps-clan.co.uk host clan to the newly founded Bad Company 2 Tournament located here www.badcompanytournament.com.

The Tournament is made up of 2 armies of about 20 players each. The armies will be made up from however many clans it takes to get the desired number of players for example a army might consist of 10 clans with 2 players each or one large clan with 20 players. The armies will fight over a large area called the battle map. Each battle will occur at 7pm GMT Sunday where 3 maps will be played consisting of 2 rounds. The winning army will be able to choose the following weeks maps to be played and also where to attack next on the battle map. This structure will be carried on a weekly basis for 10 weeks as this will be the tour of duty for each campaign.

The tournament will be run by 4 admins with each army having there own OC and each clan there own representative to be in charge of there respective clan.

We are a heavily community based tournament with a large emphasis on fun. Our aim is to make every members experience a fun and sociable one.

When does it start? I'm asking, because some of us have to work,
write examns or go on holiday. So we need to plan this and see, if we have the time.

I guess, that some others here are interested in this aswell.
Tho we are not a clan, but a community of free gamers,
of wich a few are in clans. So we don't give out binding orders to everyone.
The participating will probably be by single people or smaller groups of us,
depending on who has got the necessary time and will to join.

We might aswell be able to offer you reinforcements, if you don't have enough people for a match.
But this can be solved really quickly, just go into the shoutbox and ask for help ;)
The registrating on your homepage and going through tactics and rules is a matter of 15 minutes ;)

We are currently on Tour of Duty 2 with us playing battle 2 last night it starts at 7pm GMT every sunday. We currently have 6 clans playing every sunday about 30-40 players over 2 servers we have lost a couple of clans as they have split up so we are looking at about 2 new clans to even out the numbers.

Basically if you guys are interested we will get you signed up then your squad would be assigned to an army. One person from you guys would become the Clan Rep and be in charge of your squad and help the army OC run the battleday.

The tournament is not as serious as some out there our main aim is fun friendly gaming and all decisions on the tournament are taken by the community as a whole. It is something different and guarantees regular matches for members.

So it is also regular maps and not community maps and we don't have to download anything?
Cool. The last Tournament had special maps and nobody wanted to make the effort of downloading
and getting to know the new maps. :wacko:

Yes it is regular maps there is currently no map editor from dice to make community maps so no downloading required ;)

With you guys being a community it makes no difference to the tournament if you guys fancy it then it is just a case of signing up to the site www.badcompanytournament.com

Then one person fill in a join tournament application http://www.badcompanytournament.com/site/modules.php?name=Member_Application&appno=1 ( usually this person will become the Timeless gaming Rep) after that we will get your squad set up and allocated to an army. Your squad can be named what ever you wish i.e timeless community or timeless gaming what ever you guys like. Once that is done ill post back here with a link for signed up people to join the squad.

As I said we currently have 7 clans that play in it every week Troops of Deception,6-6-6 clan, Eternal Vigilance, Euro corps Clan, England Clan, UK-Forces and ETS clan
