So, i just came across this program, which will "tune" Catalyst drivers faster. I read few threads about people who use it and it has given significally higher fps (+10-20) at BC2 with crossfire cards. Im not realy sure what are these, somewhere was mentioned that these fixes driver problems right away, so users dont have to wait next official driver release to get fixes (also there are fixes which never will be added to official drivers).
The fixes are not limited to one game and there has been three updates already to latest ATi driver 10.6.

Below is some old change log to get the picture what changes it does:
- Battlefield Bad Company 2 Fix - horizontal lines are no longer observed when running an ATI CrossFireX configuration
- Battlefield Bad Company 2 Fix - flickering and black square corruption is no longer observed when running on single card ATI Radeon products
- Forcing on Anti-Aliasing through ATI Catalyst Control Center is now supported in the following titles: Supreme Commander 2, Dirt2, Avatar and Battlefield Bad Company2 (single GPU configurations)
- StarCraft(r) II: Wings of Liberty beta on ATI Radeon™ 5800 products running in an ATI CrossFireX configurations : moving units near the edge of a cliff no longer causes them to fall because the height field is corrupted

Does anyone use this ?
I think i test this soon, as i read tons of good things about it. But i need to check my current FPS before, so i can check will these add performance or not.

Yes I use them. On ATI's driver page it should list the latest Profile drivers directly below the normal drivers, and they are updated every time new drivers are released. From what I understand, they are supposed to try and make Crossfire and CrossfireX more compatible with games that don't fully support multiple GPUs.

I think AMD Catalyst Application Profile is not same program what you can get from ATI's page.
ATI's page last one is from date 6/18/2010 (only for crossfire) and from rage3d last one is from 7/14/2010 (all cards) ...

I still need to read more as my computer is running fine, so i dont wanna mess anything (usully when i tweak working computer, something goes horribly wrong :lol1: ) ...

But this is my starting point about fps (two runs with different maps) :

Benchmark 1:
Min: 48
Max: 124
Avg: 62.337

Benchmark 2:
Min: 44
Max: 117
Avg: 68.822
