View Full Version : GOL scope after patch
Is anybody getting this after the patch. its the x4 & x12 scope on the GOL and only seems to be on the GOL
I don't and i saw it on the EA forums, seems like none have got it there either. On the other hand im using 12X scope.
I have a normal scope on mine, with a horizontal and vert line, meeting in the middle, at the "place head here" point

maybe Ravens crosshair got hit by a DHL truck aswell
I havent tried the GOL since the patch came out, but will do so today.
BTW it works fine for me on 12x. I havent tested it on normal because I only use 12x always!
I heard same thing off Dave2Para but i said i could not remember. I will look soon too.
just checked and its the same on normal scope.
There is some chatter about it on the ea forum about bugs after the patch and this one was in there
i've also posted there so if i here anything i'll let you know
Thanks for you help guy's :good1:
If it helps, i changed nothin on my recon kit, still same crossed crosshair, magnum and 12x scope.
Yet another bug issued with the fix i'm about to gain no doubt. :neg:
ok getting there. have been playing around with my res and fov in the settings.inf and now i have my full crosshair back on the gol. still needs tweeking so when i get there ill post my settings as it may help anyone with the same prob. so far looking promissing
Im using fov90 and no crosshair problems, if it helps.
I heard off someone else that the scope has changed again, the description is as the chevrons crosshair, similar to the T88 and a few other sniper crosshairs.

Sadly it seems i can't fix this without buying a new monitor ...
try playing with your resolutions and FOV's

You have resolution probs ?
I had also after some patch, but i think i fixed it with BC2Launcher program where you can adjust more settings than in game.
I have the problem where the top and bottom parts of the crosshair don't touch the edges of the scope, but the centre of the crosshair is still fine so it doesn't stop me from sniping.

I have the same problem as this guy http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/1004182.page
ok m8 pm,ed you
the FOV setting should be c:/users/< acc name>/mydoc's/BFBC2
there you should see the settings file
open with note pad, at the bottom of the page you should see FOV=
change the value, save and exit then test it
i also found that i had to have my desktop res the same as my in game ress ( don't know why) but it worked
EDIT: quick test set in game to 1280x768 60hz got the cross in the center FOV set at 60
I read somewhere that its due to th e horizontal line behind drawn too thin so on a low res it dont show up but on a higher res it does.
I have both my screens at same desktop res as game 1920x1200 or 2560x1600 both work ok to me. Dunno if this will help at all.
i think its any ress below 1280x768 that it shows up for me other than that i pass
