what is this exactly ?
first it use Open Source applications
which install into a standard folder (with no entries into the Registry, or links to any OS services or applications). This means that you can download the benchmarks, install them and run them without any outside influences from OS updates and so forth
these are everyday applications
gimp to do photos
HandBrakeCLI to encode video
then zip a file and a video at the same time.
then it gives you a score at the end of it.

if you click the link you see that its the same mobo as im using but my score is way higher.
sometime just overclocking the cpu isnt good enought.
lets say you can get your cpu @4gig by 200fsb x 20 and 1800ram9,9,9,24 which will return a score 1200
with this ya able to test all different combos like mine benches better @ 243fsb x 16.5 and 1600ram @ 8,8,8,22
doesnt seem to work verry well on win7 or my system =/

i take it you are running two screens at the same time?
if so try turning secound one off in ati cat. and see if that works as it was never design with two screens in mind.
part from that it can only be a problem with dx not being up to date or a later one not install on windows7?
hope this helps
