Hi folks.
I´ve seen it now the 2nd time in 2 days so I post it.
Wondering what you say about this....
Well the story is: Enemy soldiers somehow breaking through the shields on the titan. I mean the shields
in the front. I was just respawning as I saw 2 pac ones on the eu deck. Killed one of them and got killed by the other cause he was taking the transporter and fired with the side gun. So he killed at least 4 or 5 of my troops. That was on timeless titan about 17:35 austrian time. The name of the guy was patdu69.
Wondering what this is. New bug? Dunno.

hello sry for saying this but yes thats a bug and you can (afaik only) do that on ff OFF servers.. you can guess how but i wont tell.. if you see some again then add catziggy2007 to xfire and tell him, he will be there in 2 seconds then =)
ah i think there are some more possibilities how to do that but some are random
and no not a NEW bug i think this bug was there since the game was released =/
Oh so this is how I got killed by an enemy turrent on Timeless a few nights back....

Come on guys... lets not rush into banning everyone for being in the enemy titan guns area.... this can be very much accidental... i've fell straight through into enemy corridoors and into the take off area by titan guns. On the other hand i'm sure there may be a way of doing this deliberately, these are the guys who we need to catch. Best thing to do is take screens and post em here etc of these guys if you see em or shout ADMIN in game messages and let em know who and where etc. IMO if someone kills more than a couple of players in the enemy titan gun area then this would be considered offensive. If you find yourself in this area then i would say, let yourself be killed, rather than risk being banned..... Thanks vertigo... ;)
you mean the podbug =) yea but you never know when youre podding INTO titan again.. but you dont even have to kill enemies whilst being in flight deck, so suicide or do nothing there =)

The first time i saw that I didn´t believe my eyes so I just stood there watching.
I got knifed then. lol That guy went on knifing all players on the titan guns.
Was a Lt.General but I can´t remember the name.

Apollo - no that wasn´t him.
I´ll post the name if I remember or see him again.
Another funny story that happened that day with this particular person:
Suez Silo 4. He was defending on top of a building with a Ganz and killed about 10 to 15 soldiers including me. Damn I thought - what to do with this guy? So I respawned on the titan and went on the high tower next to silo 5. Took the Zeller and shot from over 260m away. Nice and clean kill. :cool:
BTW and off topic: Maggett: how many points do you have to earn in a week to get MajGen. or LtGen???
i think its 10k points (his brother told me)

So minimum is 10k and depending how much above you get ranked Supreme Commander
LtGen and MajGen. Right?
major is 8000 lt is 10000 and supreem is highest score of month i was 3000 off =(

We´re talking about 8 - 10k global points right?
Or the normal carreer points?
Another question: I always thought the top 3 ranks would only be for the BrigGen to reach?
You can also get them with any rank if you´re above 8-10k. Correct?

No Only brig gens can get LT MG but anyone can get SC
ALSO if a current LT maintains his average his rank wont decay. So even if you score 20k in a week if there are no LT slots available you won't get promoted.

Thx for the answer catziggy but then I don´t understand one thing:
BlueNikon.at was SC(according to the EA hall of fame) some weeks ago. But I saw him also as LtGen and MajGen in the last 2 - 3 weeks. His regular rank is Commissar silver.
That can´t be if that´s right what you say.
OR
Supreme Commanders lose one rank week by week till they return to their old rank (SC -->LG -->MG -->old rank).
nope he got reset for stat padding when he didnt (hes my mate so i asked lol)

Don´t understand this statement.
How can he have 3 different ranks( > as BrigGen) within a month when he is not BrigGen?
I mean SC is ok. We had that. But What´s with LtGen(2 weeks ago) and MajGen(1 week ago)?
he got brig gen then got major GEN THEN lt GEN THEN SUPREEM and then he got reset cos EAthort he was "padding his stats" (getting then unfairly) so he got put back to 0 points and ina week he got 40000 points

Hmmm well then he was MajGen when they reset him.
With 40000 points in a week lolz he must be SC next week.....
Unbelievable. Is he playing day and night??:confused:
like 12 hours aday and he cant cos hes not brig gen
