So how do you keep w7 clean or just reinstall it ? i mean registery and other stuff...
Earlier i just reinstalled the whole thing around once a year, but is there good cleaning programs for that which work at w7 ? Im not attempted to do it as there is awful lot of installing after that...
http://www.ccleaner.com/ will sort a lot of what u need.
combined with http://www.piriform.com/defraggler to keep ur hdd fragment free ;)
Can't beat a fresh install of any OS whenever the need occurs tho m8y :)
yeah exactly what i was goingto say. but dont use any other reg cleaners other than ccleaner
PC format did a review of them a few months ago and found virtually all the others (including all the ones you pay for) can actual screw your system up badly if you let them work automatically.
on the other hand if everything is already clean and it makes little difference. uninstal any prog's you dont use anymore run ccleaner defrag then add more RAM lol
my pC is about as fast as it can be BUT only because i keep it totally clean, i virtually have no software other than a few games and vent Ts3 on here.

Well, i dont have probs with my computer, but i like to do a maintenance some times :)
As i cant store all of my stuff at the moment anywhere before reinstalling windows, so that must wait.... instead i runned that ccleaner :)
2 gigs of temp and other files was removed
189 registry key fixes
What about windows 7 own defrag program ? Is it any good... i have scheduled it to automatic so it will defrag when computer is at idle. Also i read that some of the defrag programs dont know how to defrag some of the windows 7 memory/page files, but im not sure about this...
now that i dont know about to be honest
but its amazing the amount of crap ccleaner can find to remove isnt it lol
