Ok, maybe someone wants to tweak fov also, so direct quote from page, i could not say i any clearer :)

Explanation
FOV (Field of View) determines how much of your surrounding area you can see without turning.

Usually in FPS games where this is configurable, you adjust the horizontal field of view so you can see more to the left and right. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 uses vertical FOV instead, so it's a little harder to work out what you need to set it to.

I not specialist about these (i dont know anything :lol1:) but i checked mine and it showd 59, in BC2 settings.ini has default 55 for me, so i think i leave it alone.

that .gif picture, doesn´t look real... Looks more like he´s just backing up. The shed in the middle becomes smaller and smaller by every frame.

Your width needs to be as big as possible :) I remember playing 2142 and going from a 4:3 to a 16:9 screen, I am quite sure I became 20% more effective after that because of the extended view.

I'm sure i remember something about this FOV thingi and I think it just adjusts the zoom, if it was actually FOV, the zoom would not change but the actual FOV would (wider view of the sides)

Yeh, i know it looks wierd, but soldier is actually standing at the same place at every time :)
When i looked bioshock 2 fov changes, if you added too "big" number you could see the helmet around hes head...

EDIT: oh, and i think weird look is that there is used same monitor with different fov settings... so physically it cant show wider so it zooms,, or something. With double monitors results could be different..

FOV is actually calculated vertically, which is why it doesnt just make it wider, it zooms out
