Yo,

Here is a nice tool that lets you easily change the settings (DirectX, FoV, etc) for BC2 without having to open the settings.ini file manually.

File Planet should list free download servers for anyone who isn't a subscriber, but they might have a queue. I'm sure you can find it hosted on other websites anyway.

I have just installed this config tool and it gives much more control over the graphics settings. It also gives you the option to manually tell the game how many audio channels you use, and here is a quote from a forum I found on what you should put in the 'Speaker Count' box:

Speakercount=0 sets the game to auto detect, which it's not very good at.

I think it's a windows issue where the game can't detect the correct setting from the windows control panel.

However, setting the speakercount manually will never hurt and in most cases will give the superior sound, as intended by DICE.

Speaker count=6 for 5.1 systems.
Speaker count=4 for 4.1/quadraphonic systems.
Speaker count=2 for 2.1/stereo systems.

Enjoy

Thanks man! Titangunther had a similar program for the Beta, which I used. It was called Liseda.
