*make sure your game is closed*
First you need to go to my documents and locate BFBBC2 directory, found here on W7:
C:\Users\*username*\Documents\BFBC2
Open the file 'GameSettings.ini with a text program like 'notepad' and towards the bottom of this text file is a list
of servers you've added to favourites or recently visited, here's an example of my file:
FavoriteGames=3621242,a85c591b-07d4-4a-a5f8-d65760efb1,[rubbish] Clan server BFBC2 RANKED;4126297297,b07ab941-c6-4849-bb66-d0801ac012,rubbish.com;
RecentGames=3485463610,68e7d2eb-236e-4ed7-bb15-23cf04deb15a,i3D.net Bad Company 2 Server;3520596786,b8df9db1-1936-4569-8ef1-d00f9a8b6c8e,Timeless Rush - www.TimelessGaming.com;3475688277,5b7f3ff0-f0ed-47e0-b651-9f926e06ecba,[C&B] Rush #1 [DK];
As you can see from my file, i have played on a timeless server showing in 'recentgames' but it is not added to my 'favoritegames' as BC2 is still buggy and i'm unable to do this ingame.
EG: to put my timeless server in the favouritegames server list then i put the server info in there, this is the string that belongs to timeless rush 3520596786,b8df9db1-1936-4569-8ef1-d00f9a8b6c8e,Timeless Rush - www.TimelessGaming.com;
Copy and paste this into the favouritegames part of the text file, seperating all servers with a semi colon ' ; '
Thats it, your good to go and should now find your servers in both locations, 'history' and 'favourite servers' lists.
I can only supply the string for Timeless Rush, can anyone else list any other timeless servers strings below so we can all add them, thanks.
