:quote: Super PI is a computer program that calculates pi to a specified number of digits after the decimal point - up to a maximum of 32 million. It uses Gauss-Legendre algorithm and is a Windows port of the program used by Yasumasa Kanada in 1995 to compute Pi to 232 digits.

SuperPI Mod 1.5
Download this free program here:

Please use v1.5 :!:

We can compare benchmarks, therefore determine the best CPU's out there which may help in the purchase of any future PC etc.

What you need to do: Run and calculate the 1meg test only and post the screen of the finished test here, along with any relevant info about

CPU/RAM/Operating System/Mobo or anything you think influenced your score.

I have an ageing PC now, socket 775 CPU Q6600 SLACR Quad 2.4ghz (A lil OC to 3.2ghz on air) 4gb DDR2 RAM 1066mhz and Windows 7.

My 1meg score is 15.927 secs now and when i first used superpi a few years ago, i think i was getting around 1 minute lolz.

So post your score here with screens :)

Mine: 16.536

Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 @ 2.84 / P5Q / 4 gb RAM / Windows 7 64-bit
Everything is at stock settings, i have not touched bios or computer settings yet, speed is enough for me so no overclocking needed :)
With Noctua NH-U12P cooler processor should go around 3.8-4.2GHz...

11.970

CPU: Intel i7 975 Extreme 3.33GHz
RAM: 6GB (3x2GB) Corsair XMS3 PC3-10666
Mobo: Asus Rampage II Extreme
OS: Windows 7 Pro 64-bit

None of these components are overclocked, so I bet the results would be super crazy if they were.

D0 rev isnt it? I only tried up to 3.6ghz without tempering
with the voltage, perhaps i should try 3.8 got d0 as well so it shouldnt need that high volt

False positive

Right negative ?

GUEST

google 'superpi malware' and you will see many have detected this as malware falsely. Its a false positive kharak, this prog been around a very long time and i've never had an issue with

it, except scoring over a minute with it ;)

And for the cocky ppl around here 'correct positive' would be the opposite of 'false positive' :)
