Post what weapon you think is best and why :)
For me: XM8 Compact (Engineer Sub-Machinegun) very high rate of fire and very accurate with the red dot addon:)
or the assault: Prototype (with Red Dot) Itīs just like the Krylov :D

also im a fan of the third sniper, and the ww2 pistol :)
That semiauto shottie is fun to wreck havoc with :) extended mags and extra nades and youre a one man army :D

Well, i did not want make new thread so here it goes, this is from BC2 twitter so official info and releated to weapons.
"[10:35] Twitter: Alan Kertz(Demize99) -- Tested a slightly higher damage model in an internal MP test yesterday. Worked out nicely A couple more tests and it will go live for retail"
"Alan Kertz(Demize99) -- So the test was to increase AR SMG LMG Pistol and SemiAuto rifles/slugs by 25% vs the torso. Splash vehicles and snipe dmg stay the same."

By looking at those stats Chriss posted.. It makes me think they need to rethink the whole damage idea of these weapons..
Pistols and revolvers are pretty much the weapons that do most damage.. (except for snipers) .. Come on!! Compared to an Assault Rifle.. Rifles have realistically speaking a MUCH bigger muscle velocity! The barrel enforces the power of the bullet and so does the caliber which rifles use. Look at the M16 assault rifle compared to the M9 Berretta Pistol.. wtf?? Ok ofcourse bullet drop of the M16 is much lower than of the Pistol and same goes for distance traveled by the bullet... BUT STILL!!
That just simply doesnīt add up! unless I have misunderstood something regarding the numbers posted. Only way I see it fit giving a number to the value of the damage given by each weapon, must be by percentage.. But as we canīt see how much percentage of health we got left, itīs hard to put all this to a test in the game. But I do know.. That a lot of the weapons in the game do not kill by 1 shot to the head... Which is stupid in the cause of reality.. But on the other hand, you avoid the Counter Strike gameplay.

Yeh, pistols are very powerfull... also i read that headshot multiplyer is 2.1 for all most all of the weapons.
I wondered about damage, because i have no clue how heavy armor will affect damage. Maybe its gives you min damage then ?
Edit: found the multiplyer thingy, but no knowledge about origin...

GOL = best Weapon in BC2, 2nd comes the M60 in Medic class
so my favorite is the GOL

Engineer and PP 2000. I have a platinum star with it. Best weapon ever, huge rate of fire, no recoil, lots of headshots :)
in BC2 its the GOL and in BC2: Vietnam its the M40 ;)
I' ll go for the shotgun!...This weapon just rips!!!
i must admit the 40mm shotgun has become something of a personal favourite
