EA Download Manager Problem

EA Download Manager has been down for me for a few days, i wanted to preorder BC2 to get access to the beta but without EADM i wonder if it is still possible.

here is the message i get when starting the program :

EA Download Manager tried to launch and external application but the path was invalid. Please try again or reinstall EADM

others seem to have the same issue and there is no answer yet :

Have you tried reinstalling ?`

I am running Win 7 64 bit and it works for me.

If so, and still not works.. Right click EADM in it´s original folder, go to properties, compatibility, then choose Windows XP Service pack 3.. :) I am not using any compatibility, but that usually does the trick :)

I remember having issues when installing EADM, but I just tried installing it to different folders.. and got it to work :)

I just installed mine to W7 just a few days ago, and its working fine...
I got this link from EA and downloaded: http://ams.akamai.cdn.ea.com/eamaster/u/f/eaonline/eadm/eadm-installer.exe

thanks for the help, i don't know what went on there, but i reinstalled it once more today and it works fine.
