yeah what do ya think are the best weapons available
(assault / lmg / pistols/ sniper / heavy machine guns)
and the best attachements?
would be nice if you could explain why the weapon is good / which advantages / disadvantages have certain weapons. which gadget is useful.
letīs make this a little guide.

Anyhoo, I normally use the Baur with the shotgun attachment as a backup incase the magazine runs out in a close range fight.
I also like using the standard sniper rifles as squad support weapons, and the Zeller ASR for long range sniping.
I think that the pistols need buffing because they are normally pretty crap, unless I attack an enemy without them seing me first.

LAV is fun for camping, only basic required
Steyr AUG with grenade launcher, almost like the Voss, but without the spread... awesome

thank you dax! i think we know as 2142 is 3 years old by now which weapon is good and which isn not so. :)
oh yeah whats the advantage of this holo sight. worth unlocking?
The holographic sights are really nice.
They give you better vision than the red dot sight and are quicker to aim through than the ACOG scope. I find that they are best suited for fully automatic weapons, and the ACOG is best for semi auto rifles at longer range.

AUG with bling (extended mags and holograpic sight)
javilan it's a beast of a weapon basicly a preditor which is fire and forget
ACR with holograpic, low recoil and 3 shots to the chest and the enemy is down.
stinger s the best for air targets. the javalin can miss where the stinger has room to turn in the air and fly back at the target
m16 is good with holograpic and hearbeat sensor 1 burst and the enemy is dead :)
scavanger is a brilliant perk you never run out of ammo

Assualt Rifles:
m4 with red dot sight
Famas with red dot sight
SCAR-H With holographic sight and FMJ/Extended mags + Handgun
FN FAL with Holographic or Red dot and Grenade launcher + Handgun
P90 with Red dot With Stinger + Handgun
P90 with Holographic and Silincer + the first automatic sidearm also silinced
L86 LMG with Grip and Holographic or red dot
All of these kits have Semtex ofcourse, it is like RDX wich sticks to enemies, trows further and has a 2 second timer!:yes2::yes2::yes2:

tactical knife all the way with any kind of handgun and
marathon pro
lightweight pro (or cold blooded tho i prefer lightweight)
ninja pro ( or commando pro)
makin ya an extremely fast and stealthy knifer. good for all the town maps but also for maps like highrise and wasteland.
if ya choose lightweight & ninja and only use the knife you will never show up on any map. great fun.
The ACR is king of assault rifles!
I normally use a ghost class with the cold blooded pro and ninja pro perks, with a silencer on the ACR/secondary and a holographic sight for super sneakyness!
My other main class is a sniper with a supressed WA2000, scavenger pro, stopping power pro and steady aim pro. I equip a claymore and then when ever someone is killed by it, I rearm my ammo with their kit and place another claymore!

dont know what game exactly you play but the AUG we get in MW2 is LGAV and not the AR... therefore no GL attachment...
ill go with scar... ironsights, sometimes FMJ sometimes Silencer sometimes GL..

maybe there was another person using a second weapon with GL,
but still the AUG kicks as :65:

this i second! thatīs the best rifle for me. tho i was playing with the scar and completed every challenge with it the acr is a great great weapon ( + red dot and gl)
and yes i also use the aug with the acog scope. good choice :)
but as iīve written my new fetish is the runner with the tactical knife. (+ mini uzi)
