help with setting up account

Bought BF2 since it's dirt cheap. I already have an EA account (obviously since I play 2142), but I can't seem to log in with it to create a BF2 soldier with it. Is there anything I need to do or will I need to create another EA account with a different email address which seems a bit stupid.

I had no problems with this at all mate, i did the same cause it was so cheap and id never played bf2

after I did the install it took my automatically to register..... i just entered my previous details and that was that...

you make an account with bf2 which is your soldier, its not the same system as 2142
