Hi Timeless Tech Folks! I need some help for a friend of mine who is having troubles with his new netbook.

The netbook has a maximum screen resolution of 1024x600, but he needs to run a program that requires a resolution of 1024x768. Is it possible to make this program run another way??

I know some of you work with computers and such, so would really appreciate some advice!

Cheers,

Perry :)

If this is MS Vista/W7 or XP, then right click on the .exe, go to properties and then

select the compatibility tab, then tick the 'run in 640x480 screen resolution'

I'll be back with another method asap, let us know if this worked for u m8. ;)

Thanks hornet mate, that's a good start! :) I will let him know in the morning. He needs the program for work, so he'll apreciate it. Cheers.

Hornet, my friend tried that fix and it's still coming up saying the program can't run in that resolution. I've mentioned he should contact his works computer department to. Thanks for the help though! :)
