Need help again!! lol

I've just brought LOTRO again....

I brought it when it first came out and i couldn't load it properly..after going back to Game and swapping the disk, it still wouldn't work...
so i went to seen someone in the techie bit in PC World(coz i not nowt about computers.)
He said i might be one bit of software on the computer stopping it from working, and would be nearly impossable to find which software it is. Or i do a system reboot and wipe everything....
I returned LOTRO and brought something else...

I did a system reboot a couple of weeks back so i'd thought i try LOTRO again today,
but i'm still having the same problem...

It loads for 5-10mins then it says.....

C:\Program Files\Codemasters\The Lord Of The Rings Online\cilent_surface.dat

An error occurred while trying to copy a file:
The source file is corrupted.

Click Retry to try again, Ignore to skip this file(not recommended), or Abort to cancel installation.


Can anyone help me to get this working plz or know why it isn't????? thanx :)

Yes Saruman has a spell on your pc

You need to travel to Mordor to rescue someone and then get the ents to rise in rebellion and crush the southerlings

ehm perhaps your dvd is damaged just sent it back and you will get a new one.. or your dvd device cant read the dvd ... had this problem with bf2 dvd.. my device wasnt able to read but my brothers could =) so try other devices or i dont know and then get a cd crack (thats legal as long as you have the original game)

and btw i think cat just wanted to make a joke lololol =) if my advise does not help then you have to kill saruman.. damn it

Do you have two sticks of ram?

Take one out and try again if it doesnt work try the other one instead.

loading is down to three things

Faulty DVD
Faulty or hapzard DVD drive
or faulty RAM

ram is easiest to eliminate
