I like some of these RTS games, CNC series, red alert, tiberium wars, etc and star craft 2
looks promising, i've personally been waiting for this for well over a year now.
I came accross some game footage this morning, i thought i'd share. I don't know when
the release date for this is but it was supposed to be Jan 2009 so it cant be far away ;)

Hi Guys
Ive had this on preorder since 2007. The release date was move back from end 2008 to Feb 2009 and now sits at Sept 2009. Latest bad news is that the game may now be release one campain at a time IE Terran, Zerg, Protoss. It seems thats one way of getting an unfinshed product to market sooner. I belive Alpha testing has now started so god ony knows what that will throw up.
Ive done warcraft, C&C and SC and I still come back to SC now and again for a simple well balanced game.

this is starting to look like "Duke Nukem Forever"... It took forever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever to create it and ever and ever etc....
and in the end... well there still is no end forever and ever and ever....
I tried this game at PAX09 and it was ace! I loved the original, and I think this one will be much better. I never liked RTS multiplayer though... Good thing Blizzard make great single player content.

anybody preordered it
I'll be pre-ordering it, but I doubt I'll do any multiplayer. I loved the original game but playing multiplayer was too much effort.
yee.. The ones that play on battle.net are sick!
You really need to play on noob areas if you wanna have any fun playing the game online and even in the noob areas there are pro gamers looking for some fun bashing noob skulls.

download version is £10 more for me than a disk copy, so im going to pick a disk copy up some time

I was thinking to buy it, because i liked the first one.
Dont know how well i survive at online battles, i think i might be too slow :D
online battles is sorta a no-no
The peeps playing theese games much is just insane in multiplayer.
More fun to play with or against people you know :)
Cause theyre not hardcore rushers hehe
Right, i played it for a few hours now and its the best game i played in years, damn this is cool :)

I played also few hours and its good, base building, nice looking, quite fast action...
Had my first online battle also, but i slightly lost :D i was sooo close to win.

ok..... so... i've had the game for some days now, and im easily buying the rest of the series without questioning if it's as good as this firs campaign game.... this is one of the best campaigns i've ever played !!!! :D
well spent money from my perspective! multiplayer.... well..... imho it sux... but if you liked the MP in the first game, you''ll be glad, cause it's the same; it's all up to the rusher :P
