Recently i was banned by CaptPlissken for Orbital Striking the PAC beach.
Since this is my first real day on BF2142 i was unaware of the rules since i had a friend teaching me how to play, he explained how to use the commander options since our team didn't have one.
After which i went on my own and i joined this server. without reading the rules, i'm not going to sugercoat it since it was my own fault for not paying attention.
I was wondering if it was possible to be unbanned since i'm sincerely sorry for not paying heed to the rules, and it won't happen again if i do get unbanned :]

Since you've just begun playing 2142 and found the best servers there is ;) you should take a good look at the rules we have on our servers!
Follow them and have fun! Any questions, use the shoutbox, it's a very good asking tool, or post in the right forum.

Indeed I ban you and credit to you for admitting what you did. Different servers have different rules and with us, the PAC spawn area is a big no no.
If you need to orbital strike, the crane area or the containers on the left side are the best areas to do this. Otherwise the game would be TOO easy for EU forces!

Since its best to ask, instead of making another foolhearty mistake.
Is it ok to traverse into the PAC Spawn and RDX the commander assets and flee/take the death?
Obviously it would be with the Recon class to avoid killing anyone since i've learned from my mistake there.
Edit: and thanks for your help guys, after the support and welcome i got here i plan to stick around on the Gib servers for quite awhile :]
you can take out assets but probably not worth it in Gibraltar unless the beach is clear.
If you kill while next to the assets then you might get banned.
