OMG I cannot say how bad this film is, never have I seen a film hyped so much when its such a downright lie
I really really recommend you dont see it, or at the very least wait till its on DVD......
normally I dont comment about films because I recognise that my tastes are not necessarily those of others..... but in this case I just have to comment
frankly its really was the worst pile of drivel that Ive ever had the misfortune to have to sit threw...... what makes it worse was that when I was leaving my mrs said the same and that she wanted to leave from half way threw herself grrrrrr
the plot is thready at best and the final premise was so obvious that some guy behind me (who from his coversation pre-film was clearly withut the family braincell that day) spotted it very vocally 20 minutes from the end.
whats worse is that the final premise could have been used by the main character to solve her problem from the outset rather than waiting the 'whole film' in order to work it out
the director/writer seems to have a fetish for vomit/bugs/whatever going into the lead actresses mouth.. yeeeesh
the lead actress herself seems to have learned acting from the waxworks school of acting grrrrrr
the continuity is actually that bad that I started to play 'now she's wearing a bra... now she's not' every time the camera flipped back to the lead actress in a lot of scenes...... (well I had to do something to keep myself entertained and you know boobs and all that.......)
what exatly is scary about an old woman I dont really know
and dont get me started on the goat........
