hey,
My ingame name is:

I got banned a day ago at about 13 pm European time.
I joined the server just when the new round started.
I was in the EU team and i got up the roof, and started throwing grenades and sniping people.
Then i sniped someone near the rocks at the left side of the map.
And then i got banned.
I don't think i did something wrong, but if i did please tell me.
I can assure you that i didn't baserape the pac or something.
I'm just finished reading the rules, and to my opinion i didn't break any.

Have a read through the Timeless server rules (http://www.timelessgaming.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4083). This will explain why you were banned.
Spawn killing - especially those by the rocks you mention is a big no no. Actually, it might have been me who banned you but I cant remember as I have banned/kicked so many recently for breaking the server rules.
Please understand that one of the reasons why the Timeless servers are one of the busiest is because we police the servers to ensure the rules are kept to, so everyone can enjoy a fair experience - be it PAC or EU forces.

Okay, i understand that it's sucks when you get spawn killed.
I hate it too.
but sometimes you don't know whether that person has just spawned or is just standing there for a good K/D ratio, with the help of some grenades.
However i did break the rules i guess.
And if i get unbanned, i'll just leave the rockpeople alone.
And shoot some people on that boat instead.

i wouldnt do that either....boat is also a no go zone....read the rules properly and you will see the red zone on gib clearly outlined, do not kill someone who is standing inside that red zone, it is against serevr rules, wait untill they get onto the hardtop

I have never entered this zone, and everyone is throwing grenades there and vice versa.
I'm confused now.
sorry, to clear that up for you a little, you are allowed to enter the red zones, with the sole intention of blowing up the assets, but even when in there do not fire a single shot, even if fired upon.
the baserape rule is on timeless servers to give the spawning players a chance, you said yourself it is annoying to be spawnkilled. players can spawn anywhere in that red zone, and killing a spawning player will get you kicked/banned. therefore it is adviasable not to shoot anyone in that spawnzone unless you know for sure they are launching an attack, admins have brains, and realise somethings are done in self defence, but one slip of the finger on a spawning player, and your outta there

well officially you are allowed to return fire if shot at, but then it rarely ever is thus - and in the heat of battle these things go astray and wooooosh yer banned :butcher:

I never killed someone when in the zone, but probably someone who spawned.
I shot from the rooftops.
In future games i'll just be more careful, of course.
I really want to get unbanned because other servers suck like vacuum cleaners.

if, as and when you get unbanned i give you some advice, stand where you cant be shot from the redzone, that way, you probably cant shoot back, and also you have no need to shoot back, the spawning players can launch their assault onto the hardtop, making them ahppy, and you can give them hell, making you happy

Ingame name base is not on my list.
It doesnt matter if you are not IN the red zone! it says dont kill any players that are IN the redzone! You could be standing all the way back at Toll Station throwing some "miraculous" grenades.. and somehow they land in red zone.. Then it´s ban! It´s quite simple! Don´t shoot or kill players in red zone!
The only time i´ve been allowed to do so, was on Cerbere Landing.. Cause alot of peeps sit way back in PAC base and snipe, so i asked (think it was) G-Zap if i could return fire, (as i was a recon at the time). He said, that if a sniper is shooting and killing you/squad members, then you are allowed to snipe back. (BUT NO GRENADES) as they will most likely kill some spawning players... That´s not official though, but i was allowed that the time.. Cause we were pretty much pinned down, by 4 snipers... So i got em all:)
European time is the timezone that covers most of central Europe, Germany, France most if not all of Scandinavia, austira, you get the idea, its 1 hour ahead of GMT(England)

I think this is one of mine. If so, an Admin will lift the ban shortly. This will be your second and final chance on the server - so play fair..

It was a round where hell broke loose and a lot of bans happend because they could not stay away from killing in the redzone ...
So lets wait till G-Zap has seen that post and Base confirms that he has read over and over again our rules and has understood them ...

Hummm yapp - I had G-Zap on voip ond we stopped fighting and started to clean the beach. 1st they started around the crane - but soon after that they tried on the other side and it looked like half of our team was down there and it rained a lot of kicks`n bans for free on a nice sunday :)

Well, i carefully read the rules, and from now on i'll just defend the harbor by shooting people on the so called "Hard top", instead of shooting people on the sand.
And well, i have to say that you guys do keep the server clean and playable.
And there's nothing wrong with that, i totally agree with the fact that i got banned the other day.
And btw, when i join other servers it's like 24/7 chaos.
So please unban me cuz timeless gibraltar server is like the only server with descent gameplay.
No problem - can somebody lift the ban, my console isnt working.
