As there is new soldiers in this, in link has ranking information. What badges etc. you will need to get next rank and is it awarded by unlock.

I'm still lacking my knife, pistol and sniper badge to get next rank :( Points have gone over the required for long time ago :bb1:

Oha .... and i got Knife Gold there ... hummm :)
:P i find easiest way to get points is just go medic throw medic packs down and then just revive EVERYTHING

Hehe, yesterday I did a Tillers and was trying to revive even our foes, lol, no points though..

yes bf2s is the page for it all
medic is good for points, as is ammo guy
hmm and dont get me wrong you still get promoted if you havent got the badges / theres sometimes 2 ranks per a load of points as for master sergent and the other one , one u get with badges the other not..

Oh, now it get it. Didnt realize that there is many ranks to same points.
So, next one i get with badges or 50000 points...
at the moment im master sargent but never realy played for the badges n stuff just kill kill kill kill and more kill kill lol

no, still not quite...
you need 50000 for both ranks...
Master Gunnery Sergeant takes 50'000 points
Sergeant Major takes 50'000 points plus the Basic Armor Badge, Basic Transport Badge, Basic Helicopter Badge, Basic Aviator Badge, Basic Air Defense Badge, Basic Ground Defense Badge ...
same with the ranks before, i got first sergeant cause i had all the badges needed when i reached 20000

you need 50000 for both ranks...
Master Gunnery Sergeant takes 50'000 points
Sergeant Major takes 50'000 points plus the Basic Armor Badge, Basic Transport Badge, Basic Helicopter Badge, Basic Aviator Badge, Basic Air Defense Badge, Basic Ground Defense Badge ...
same with the ranks before, i got first sergeant cause i had all the badges needed when i reached 20000
Well, i thinked if i get missing badges, i will be promoted to First Sergeant (with 20000 points). Or when i receive 50000 points without badges i will be promoted to Master Gunnery Sergeant directly. This thinking was "taked" from BF2Stats.net. this confused me a little :(
Next Rank: First Sergeant
Current Global Score: 26874 of 20000. Remaining points: 0.
But you know what, i just readed the first setences :haha3:
"If you make it to Master Sergeant without the awards, you will not be promoted to First upon earning the missing awards. "
ye u can still move up the ranks with out the badges just differant rank sort ov lol thats how i did it
