Joined Suez 2 server today. theres always a flippityflip as you join about maps and silos and what side you end up on. As I finally surfaced on the PAC side I heard the message
Enemy shield is destroyed.
Great i thought
next message one second later
our Titan Hull is destroyed.
Didnt even get to spawn anywhere lol.
this happend last night many times on suez 1... so much so that i left and went on suez 2

Its amazing the number of people that bail the losing side just before the game ends not understanding it will STILL count as a loss on their stats.
are you sure? i thought you get the loss or victory only when you stay till this screen shows up

If you bail out near or at the end of a round your score and W/L are recorded and sent to EA and your stats are up dated, that said I've bailed only in disgust at the way some players have played lol its not funny when you get so called high ranked players playing like "NOOB'S" lol!!

This is not compltely true as I learned this the hard way. BF2142 decided to go to desktop once for me and this happend just 1 minute after I got my WarCollegeRibbon. I so hoped it got recorded but it didn't unfortunatly (was aslo just before the end of the round)...
Ended up getting the WCR after 7 retries off commandering but the thing is pretty difficult to get (especially W/L-ratio but that wasn't a problem for me).
the stats get updated after few minutes =) when i knifed one (good player i think^^) i lost connection after the round then i watched the rankings but didnt see him knifed by me =(
then i joined the server again and then i got knifed by him lol =P
but after few rounds then his tag got updated into my stats =)

Unless the server crashes.
All your stats including kills deaths teamwork points and what types they were etc all get reported to the stats server if you bail before the game ends prperly. Up to a certain time till the end whether you bailed whilst on the winning side or losing side will also be recorded. Similarly if you don't join a game properly it should also not be recorded.
Any badges/medals/pins you receive in the game will NOT be recorded unless you make it to game end proper.

lol, nah, you deserved my tags there. I was lying prone next to some boxes at the flag which I almost never do cause its a big invite saying knife me. Then I noticed the flag had stopped going down and this little alarm bell went off in my head and I thought oh crap, Im gonna get kn.....(slice).

and yea it was not nice to knife you there =) but the fight later there you deserved my tag xD im a knife noob lol and i normally dont knife anyone because i already have the badge in gold and have the new knife so what more? =)

You must be a mod on a server me I will never get it to honest lol and in the early days of playing I was not aware of the w/l until it was to late still you cannot do it alone you still need the team to win unless your one of those who jump every time your on a loseing side to a winning lol

I'm not but I do make squads and such with names like; Teamplay&VC.
Sometimes just start a Squad, invite people, get commander if no-one wants it.
I knew about the W/L-ratio from BF2 so decided to get it as soon as possible but it took me another 10 hours or so of commandering to finally get 45 commanderpoints InOneRound.
I haven't been juping sides although sometimes when joining a server I do want to play PAC (hunting down that PAC-ribbon).
AS said, the 45 points were the toughest. You need squads that take orders or can set orders themselves.

I won mine by going to the DE Fall of Berlin Server. They DONT swap sides and the EU win 9-1 all the time. Took about 4 weeks of hard gaming to get it just doing that map
Not much fun. I feel sorry for Mr Fantastico because he has about another 1000 games to go before he gets his :(

I've 2000 rounds to play and win my w/l is 1.06 at the moment so I don't think its a goer for me but I'm not bothered really done the rest but not the best still there is one thing I could do is restart another player up and get it that way lol but I am happy with what I've got anyway
