Hi all, having played only for a few month online BF2142, and what I can gather banned for life for first offence. Which I suppose is my fault for not watching what I was doing and obvious breaking the rules, enough said. Looking at the game from a fresh pair of eye’s about cheating, etc, i.e. no baseraping, spawn killing etc. I would like players thought’s on where player’s stand on explosive’s and blast themselves up to get on high building roofs, etc, sorry don’t now the game term for this particular move would this not be considered a cheat. Again I would like people’s thought’s on this and there view’s.
Pue.
PS- please excuse if this is not posted in the right part of the forum.
Here on Timeless servers it's allowed to get up to high spots like that, but other server may not allow it, called ''roof camping'' when you fight from there and may not be a very good way of winning the battle imo.

yes like the guys say, not against the rules here
but not really useful for your team, plus it actually makes you a good target for snipers on the ground......
I know at least one time where this trick is useful but im not saying! :haha3:

I dont want to insult anybody. But this rdx hopping is actually even more idiotic than the usual usage of rdx on timeless servers.....
And it may be useful, but i still dont belive that the dice guys ever wanted to have it like this.....
Unfair and not very realistic......

tell me m8, how come the stats list RDX as a weapon then ? and not as a piece of equipment?

lol try it on a server with a percentage of team damage on, lololol spend half the round saying "sorry m8" oops " my bad" or "Medic!!!!!"
i think its all good, can be a pain in the butt sometimes, but hey, its game on :good2: especially with some of these guys that have "Turbo bunny slippers " :tongue2:

Battlefield is FAR from realistic.IRL, a tank shell will Not drop instanly after its being fired.IRL their are no health bars.If your hit, or your tank his armor is penetrated=Ur most likely dead
The reason why Battlefield is popular is because it is Unrealistic.RDX is fine with me(Exept RDX cars, those guys are lame), i rarely use it, and i can hold myself in a battle against them(Exept Chaoz, he remains a Headache)
Besides, RDX hopping only happens on Suez on the titan decks.Just avoid that spot.Or play in a FF ON server if you dont like it.

In real life u wud have ladder r sumthing but dice or ea or whoever didnt put one in the game so we need to make do with what we got :)

I do think it were ment to get on rooftops, maybe not with rdx but with the spawnbeacon for sure, a fair chance to miss or hit if placed right.
And I don't argue against it's good to reach a roof and fight from there sometimes. If underdogs behind the frontlines, get on roof and place a beacon and you have a good forward position to attack from, of course!

im not against the idea, i like ff=on most of the times but we have alot of children in timeless who doesnt mind shooting at you on many random occasions.
BF is not real life, it a game, it has cost me £27 and did not/should not cost me my only life.
You want realism? join the army, i wanna lil fun with a few mad weps and some RDX and FF-Off is more fun. :RDX:

It's actually ok with FF imo. It's a whole other type of gaming, but it works if all just make an effort. Of course smacktards are a bigger pain in the a*s there and when a newbie is around, you feel it :/
