View Full Version : Timless Titan Suez 1 PB problem
Right guys you have a major PB problem on your servers, I've just reinstalled all of BF2142 since my install was rendered useless after gaming on Suez 1 after your update.
I game for about 5minutes then I get booted and a blank PB window comes up.
Funny enough I can enter any other server which I did and game with no problems at all so I seriously doubt it's my PB issue, I tried various Rackage servers and some multiplayer.co.uk servers and some other generic random ones all of which I had no problem gaming with.
I do hope you fix this soon as I enjoy the timeless servers.:rolleyes:

Ahhahh...ignore my ranting..seems Zonealarm wasn't giving PB full permissions :roll:
ahhh... i forgot about firewalls... updating PB will change the firewalls permissions for PB to access the net. I think this should solve a lot of peoples problems with PB. ;)
I think if it was a firewall issue with PB, then it would in-fact stop you playing 2142 altogether and not just Timeless servers.
Andrew I have the same problems as you. PB has full access with my firewall and I don't have any problems until I come onto the Timeless Titan servers.
I get about 5/6 warning messages, then I get some other message, before I get kicked.
i dont know whats wrong with your bf2142 or punkbuster or firewall or i dont know something must be different to my comp because i get these messages too but it doesnt kick me from game =) i have firewalls but none of them installed on my pc

Yeah well I begun playing on other servers until they update their servers PB I think something went wrong with the update and I am not meddling with my PB install since it obviously is correct since it works with the mass of servers.

Try doing this as it worked for a friend of mine:
1. Go to C:\WINDOWS\system32 and see if PnkBstrA.exe and PnkBstrB.exe are in there. If either aren't i think that might be one possible cause of the problem. If they are then carry on to 2.
2. Even if you have allowed them already in your firewall (and windows firewall if you have that running), add a new exception for both of them. so you would add one for "C:\WINDOWS\system32\PnkBstrA.exe" and "C:\WINDOWS\system32\PnkBstrA.exe".
3. Once you have added them or re-added them, restart your computer.

I've had issues with PB "B" not initializing and it took me 9 hours 4 re-installs and never got to the bottom of it it just started to work and I took everything out of system 32 my registry program files even the firewall I even did a manual update of PB after re-installing and then allowing it through my firewall again and eventually it just kicked in automatically funny thing that "PB" lol!

i have checking all my stuff here and i get still this punkbuster error crap so the problem must be on timeless server.i have install my bf new my punkbuster new etc..everytime same problem.
i can´t play on any timeless server!!!!!!:-( :-( :-( :-(
Are you sure you MANUALLY updated pb? if not try that. You have to dl the client etc. etc. and make sure it updates properly

mayby we must put working punkbuster version here somewhere where other people can dowload a version that works for all.
