Hi guys, fistly let me thank you guys for the excellant servers you provide, i play on them daily and not on many others to be honest, if i wasnt in the clan ive been in for so long id certainly have no other clan id prefer to join than yours!!
I have one little problem with the server today, the NS server that is, as i was pac i decided i had to get in the EU base and destroy the goodies with my c4, so i boosted in with a speeder jumped out shot a couple of EU soldiers, got a couple of things destroyed and defended myself on the way out, straight away someone voted to kick me, then i got kicked by an admin for "Base Rape" :roll:
I just want to point out im not base raping when destroying your stuff and defending myself on the way back out, feel the admin decition was wrong
My in game name is NE0CULT with a zero
anyways on a lighter note its nice to meet you all and now that ive joined up i will be a regular on your forum as well as your servers
see you all on the battlefield ;)
welcome to forum...if you want destroy assets you need to avoid fighting but you come arnold Schwarzenegger style kill everybody what you see and then you try destroy assets and thats is wrong way to do that.

I agree it is a fine line, at times I've learned when taking down assets never to engage the enemy, try to get in and out without battle, and leave in same vehicle you arrived in, if an enemy engages me I seek to withdraw rather the engage as to avoid such a situation like yourself.

I wasnt banned mate just kicked, i only shoot if shot at to defend myself on the way out and thats what i did

Yeah ahoof totally understand but its so annoying, someone voted to kick me the same guy who was throwing loads of votes, the vote failed and like 5 seconds later an admin kicked me
anyways lets not worry about it, im not banned i dont think, its just one of those things...

that what you did is wrong...you do more baserape than trying destroy assets (that is annoying) and the kick vote come a good reason becose you did this same move many times....so please i see what you do and you broke rules...but yeh no worry this... i hope ziggy dont see you doing same move you maybe got b then

I didnt do anything wrong and have explained myself, lets not argue id rather enjoy a good game instead :)
i dont do voting... 1 round leipiz i see how you play and only watch how you play, 2 round not so bad but 1 round help me deside...i dont do anything withaout reason.... and yep i dont want to argue and i hope this end here and i hope you enjoy playing timeless servers. :)

I don't want to be offensive and i'm sorry if this is, but personally, when he says he just wanted to go in there and blow up commander assets, i think it's kinda logic if he shoots back when he gets shot at. That's normal, even in a real life war. So, i don't see it as base-raping. If he is'nt the class that carries the "Demo Pack", then i would agree but if he is and he does it with the intention just to blow up the commander assets and then bug the hell outta there, then i don't see him violating the "base-rape" rule. But like i said, i don't want to be offensive and i'm sorry for my part if i did, but this is just how i felt about it.

Quite correct. That is in the EA Rules of Conduct as permitted.
What EA states as an action disallowed is repeated base attacks on the enemy uncaps (locked base) . Scalper watched and made NO snap decision on this.
Like all Timeless admins he allowed enough rope to hang the player for themselves.
Unlike many servers we allow players to come to our forums to discuss the issue and in most genuine cases bans are revoked and everyone is a freind.
Please don't confuse us with servers that ban people willy nilly. We have some of the most highly popular servers in our field and that is partly because of careful and concerned admins.
thanks for your input though. It reminds us that its players like you that have the right to be protected doping raids on assetts as much as those defending them.

Well, i don't compare games to real life, but nowadays, games are more realistic.
A lot of things you see and can use ingame, is also available in real life.
But like Ziggy said, "That is in the EA rules of conduct" And i did'nt even read all of those rules. As a matter of fact, i did'nt read them anyway. I mainly heard the EA rules from friends.

Thats fine. Nobody does lol. All we ask if that you play by our server rules. Your a decent sort it seems so if you were at the grey area between base rape as admins would describe it and legititemetely trying to blow asetts and cause destruction then we can all be happy as we understand what the situation is now.

When I'm blowing assets, I don't wait for them to fire on me before I fire back. I don't act any differently at all in fact. If I see an enemy, even if he's standing around looking afk, he is going to get shot at.
Saying all that, if I'm out of RDX, my job is done. I'll try and run out but if go down in a hail of bullets, that is fine with me and preferable actually as then I can respawn at the same time as the car that got me to the enemy base and go again.
Admittedly, I only do RDX runs if the opposing side is getting totally destroyed anyway.

Well, that's me. Following the rules of a server. Unless they aren't reasonable but the Timeless rules are good enough. The reason why i say this is that on some servers there are some real nooby rules. I can't think of 1 just yet, because it was a while back allready but i've seen some real crazy rules in the past.
