i'm not knocking con-air here but I have to admit that when ive gotten mine I try a ask a good pilot to fly for me and im only the gunner again this badge like alot of others can only be got by team work congrats

i'm not knocking con-air here but I have to admit that when ive gotten mine I try a ask a good pilot to fly for me and im only the gunner again this badge like alot of others can only be got by team work congrats
Yapp ... you need good teamwork, no matter if you use the gunship or the transport. If a good con air team is up in the air - it´s even hard for a Fehn to take us down. In such cases you just need good folks on 4&6 with saaws and repairs at 5 &7. 3 spots the troops and 2 nails them.
Basically if a good team is together, such batches/medals are more easy in a transport than in a gunship. Con-Air helped me to get the troop transporter pin/batch/medal in one round and a few days later we got Chaozs pin/batch/medal also that way. If you need a good transport pilot - look out for bullit dodger - he knows what to do up there. I´m just his yound padavan that still learns from him every go we have as Con-Air :) - the force will be with you !
The night before we tried it and chaos got 34 of the 35 needed kills with just a half full transport that made it easy to take us down - but well just a few secs before the round ended we had Fehn in a nice dogfight and he left the GS just a few secs too late - so round over and ChaoZ pi**ed with 34 kills... but how we love to say:
Never surrender - never give up :)
Even the "original" con-air got probs when they tried and had fehn as guard. We talked pez to a good attacking possition and took them down a few times. No need for Saba to brag around that he took us down with the gunship - we did the same a few times and no1 did hear a word from us - except pez via voip with his typical "muuuuuhahahaha" ....
To keep it simple: Teamwork counts and Teamwork is fun ! No matter if you go for the core or for a pin/batch/medal ...

yeah it does cause some grief for the guys on the titan decks thats why we try to get it on silos b4 shields go down i needed 8 r so kills by time shields went down just wiped out the first wave of attackers got me badge then their shields went down so pete landed so gracefully on deck and we broke their titan for good measure :)
