Ok let me share this with you guys and i do think we as timeless Friends have the same idea
Tag
why dont we tag our self ?
i might be wrong but alot of players think clan is unfair like what ???
kicking ppl, dont lestten to ppl , rules gose on players but not on clan
We Think that if we tag our self Players would think that we are Realated to the server and have the upper hand on everthing
we just like to have fun play with others some time players play with us for some time and never know that we are the Timeless Guys and admins loool
beleav it or not we are 3 admins 2 of them never botherd to admin cuz thay really like to play and have fun
We think that Timeless guys are all the good players that play on the server we trust them and lesten to what thay want
thats what make good server from bad server it is the players Not the Admin.
admin is just to keep thinks in order beaing an admin in No fun at all

I think we shud all have a tag, and actually play like a clan. ive never been in a clan and this is the closest ive ever been, and the only group of players i have ever actually like started to talk to out of the game etc etc etc.
It would be nice if we could have a tag and enter leagues and ****, like a clan :p.
I think we would have some real good team players, i mean me and hornet work well - and you timeless guys seem to take out a titan in like 3 seconds lol. So if we all worked together when it came to proper games i think we could make a good name for ourselves
Mixed feeling aboout this as i dont wanna give up my =C1D3R= lol no seriously, i think admin at the very least should have a tag, i'm sure it would be somethin like =TIME= and maybe u should invite players you'd like to join your clan. Every server got a clan tag, so tag yourselves and stay friendly with high standards but u deserve to be known, u deserve ur own tag. I've always joked that we play for timeless... come join us! it was ur idea ! lol =C1D3R= =C1D3R= =C1D3R= =C1D3R= =C1D3R= =C1D3R= =C1D3R= and even more =C1D3R=
I would be up for a clan-type of thingy but I know some of us don't really buy the idea. I think it would be cool to enter leagues and stuff but the majority wins i'm afraid.
Maybe we should have a vote?
And yes, Ashoof i think you'd be a great teacher! lol! Then Olorian wouldn't have to go to that speacial school. lol
Any suggestions on a tag then? u gonna have a vote? Who is against the idea and why? I can see the benefit of stealth but an undercover cop dont stop the crime.

But then we would have too... practice without ff off !! hha :p. nah im still good with it off but sometimes i knife a team mate .. <_< serously.. lol. When im running and you know how it is u shoot and knife people on timeless on ya team all the time

Since you have been going around I would like to add my two cents being part of a clan and when asked on our server this was my answer. Hope it helps Timeless....although time for you guys is not running out...timeless get it.. :)

Why Gamers join clans
Joining a clan places one within a social network which provides access to resources, knowledge, and help needed to accomplish many game related goals. In addition, banding together with like-minded players seems to fulfill a human desire for social interaction. Taken together, these two factors can vastly enhance the gameplay experience of many players.
Clan members often use a variety of methods to collaborate, communicate and improve their gameplay.
Internet
A website is often the central focus for publicising upcoming activities such as training sessions or official matches in leagues. It will also be used for sharing tips and tactics, jokes, and general discussion topics. This all helps people to get to know each other and build team spirit (yet conversely can also cause personality clashes).
Voice communication
Being able to talk to your team during a match and change tactics instantly gives an obvious advantage, but it is also widely used for chatting outside of competitive play. Several applications are available on free download that enable users to talk to each other via their pc microphone/headsets. TeamSpeak and Ventrilo are in common use, both require a small central server, either rented from a hosting company or hosted on someone's computer or server. Other voice chat services include Yahoo, MSN, AIM, and Google Talk. Clans tend to not use these programs because of the excessive amount of RAM that is required to run both the game and the VoIP applications. Ventrilo and TeamSpeak use less RAM, which makes it easier to run the game.
Messaging
Instant messaging by utilities such as MS Instant Messenger, or Xfire, allow gamers to write simple text messages to each other providing both have the utility and have set up an account on the system. Many games actually provide simple in-game messaging facilities. A player can send a message visible to everyone on a server, or this can be restricted to just the player's team. Such features sadly lend themselves to abuse. The less savoury or immature players use it as a method to be obnoxious or disruptive (see note below regarding spamming and trolling).
Proof of skill
Some clans only recruit skilled players and will only recruit players who they think can help their clan win matches. It is common for a prospective clan member to be asked to prove their skill in a game, by taking a series of tests against current clan members in a private server.
Teamwork
Particularly in role playing games, gamers will form guilds or clans for the sole purpose of assisting each other. These clans are primarily involved in tradeskills, with one or more members specialized in one or two tradeskills, such as mining or smithing. These clans provide their members with good weapons and armor, often at little or no cost.

I find that most of the people in these clans to be arseholes.
You know who your friends are. You dont need a badge to show it.

I don't think all clan members are arseholes, but I think the few that are then make people think the whole clan are.
But anyway, we've been through this loooooads of times, and we're not going to have a clan.
Zap i agree i once was was in a clan naah kicking arse with frinds way more fun then some one tag him self and consider him self as a frinde just by taging him self heheheh
Like if i go to some clan web site and i say hummm let me become a frinde just by tag my self.
i remeber seeing players Tag them self like in each server thay got in Whahahahahahahah
well i consider dumb if one make frinds like that

Ok i have also been in a few clans ,we have even had our own server before, started as a group of friends who liked playing the same game, ended in half of us not talking to each other lol.
Everyone has their own ideas on way clans should be run, the way timeless guys play is more relaxed, no orders, no grief if you dont turn up for practice etc.
And as for performance related, dont get me started there............is a game for gods sake, is for fun , clans take it too seriously.
And another thing (well and truly on soapbox now) if you make a clan to play on the servers then you need to start contributing to Ashoof for the right to be in his clan and most clan members PAY!

I agree with G-Zap....that's why me and a couple of my mates use the =EGO= clan tag. We're not really a clan - it's just a p*ss-take of the players who have seem to have a clan tag to massage their egos :rolleyes:
I also like the way Timeless admins play with no clan tag....it's funny seeing people initiating kick votes against admins! :D

I totally agree, you do not have to be part of a clan to have or make friends. In real life I'm totally against anything that would be a clan or klan. We will meet many people in the servers that with or without tags are arseholes. It is not the tag that makes the person, but their character. Believe me I have been on both sides and a little tag won't decide who is good or bad.
It is totally us to the server and folks that play there. I think the timeless should not change, but continue the way it has. Pony

i stay already 4 years in a clan and its damn fun. we are a mutigaming clan from all over the world and played in diffrent gaming leaques, anyway...
i think it would be a great idea when Timeless start matching in a ladder. when ya check the timeless serverlist ya see always some of the best players on bf2142. pick some timeless buddy´s, think about a TAG (only for laddering ya need it) and lezzzzz go!

we cud have some good players who regularly visit timeless, in the timeless clan... as faceless said, and including himself, there are some of the best players in the world playing in timeless regularly. Would EPOX switch N@M for =TIME= ? i wonder? lol
As we have said previously, we would rather just have fun and play the game without worrying about being in a clan or having a tag. Personally I think it would cause some agro with people missing matches and fanny's trying to join and such so I think we'll put to bed those rumours for the time being. You never know what the future holds though...........
