What PSU you got Ash? Mine isn't technically beefy enough for SLi, so if I get another 8800 I'll need to get a new PSU.
...btw, it's funny seeing where people actually sit when they frag my a** (or me theirs!) :D

Yeah serously i always thought you could just run a game off a server you own, infact i thought a lot of people did that :S.
How come people when your on their servers sometimes reboot the server themselves, reinstall things, install patches etc etc, if it isnt theirs? or even near them?

Nice Rig G-zap whats the spec :D
The Spectrum has eight colours, a built-in sound generator and loudspeaker, and the closest Sinclair Research has come to a "real" keyboard. Its specifications exceed those of the Model A BBC machine, and come close to the Model B in many areas. At just £125 for the 16K model, the Spectrum is the same price as a ZX-81 with 16K pack when first launched. With 48K the Spectrum costs £175.
The Spectrum uses a "superset" of ZX-81 Basic, and any ZX-81 program can be typed in with the minimum of changes; ZX-81 tapes cannot be loaded into the Spectrum. The new computer loads and saves much more quickly than does the ZX-81, at 1,500 baud as against around 250, and the upward compatibility of listings should mean a lot to organisations like Muse which are building up a library of educational ZX software. Publishers of ZX literature or ZX software breathed a sigh of relief on hearing that ZX-81 listings could be entered directly.

mmmmm, 20.1" display :p
The silly thing is, because Dice are retarded and don't allow wide screen resolutions, I have to play BF2142 in a 4:3 aspect ratio. There are commands you can put in the game link's target directory section, but it doesn't work when Northern Strike is installed.
I have a gaming laptop with a wide screen display on it and it ran BF2142 fine in a 16:10 ratio, but after I installed NS, the game wouldn't even load. It's as though they have put in crappy restrictions that detect you're trying to run it in wide screen. Poop!
Thankfully this Dell monitor has an auto ratio detection system, so if I run a game in a 4:3 size, it just leaves blank borders on either side of the screen. Nifty!

heh DICE are teh stupid :p they did the same with BF2, they say a wider view would give players with widescreen an unfair advantage

bf2142 works perfect with my viewsonic monitor, this is what you should put in the command line
"C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Battlefield 2142\BF2142.exe" +menu 1 +widescreen 1 +szx 1680 +szy 1050
I also play bf2 perfectly as well with that res, you just have to edit the command line.
I got a new monitor!
A Dell 3007WFP HC! I've been testing it out and have got BF2142 running at 2560x1600.
And I've been using the commands to get it running in widescreen too, which seem to work alright for me at the moment.

lol that's not a monitor, it's a telly :D
even bigger than mine :o , I figure that thing will be dead weird when you start gaming.
I can't actually use it easily as a TV because it only has a DVI connector, which is a bit annoying I guess but it is still awesome.

nice m8... i can hear the fans from here lol ;)
I have the exact same case, and it's not that bad.
TK-507 how is the X38 chip set mother bord ??? can you give us small review hehehe and how dos the driver gose
Its actually not bad ... some people gripe about it but in all fairness the x38 is the same version as the maxius formula board .. as for clocking iv had a read and ive set my dram config correct just need alil more on voltage as its set a 2.0v just now
other than that it works well at 3.60g per core ...but if i had vista or xp 64bit it would recognise 4gig of ram instead of the xpsp2 crap saying its 3.25gig 6400 when its really 8000 and then id be able to have more fun clocking ..
Nice case, everyone seems to be buying the Antec 900's now.. it's really catching on.. but i can't blame them it's an awesome case.. i have one too. :D
No x38 Sli as of yet right

saba get a proper desk, you will end up having back issues in your 20ies :s
sababoi99
11-04-2009, 12:48
how m8?
actually better of getting A desk, cause that looks more like a small shelf, and you ask why, because it looks like your knees is getting baked in with a lot of other stuff when you sit there, and if it isnt then youre sitting too far from the computer and therefor putting alot of stress on your back, thats why.
i will be uploading a pic of mine, as soon as i find my cable :)
