The person who is number one in each of our servers at 31 October 2007 gets a reserved slot on all servers for the next month. The following servers are included :
Timeless Conquest & Northern Strike
Timeless Suez
Timeless Titan

To make sure you get a good chart position, you might need to tag yourself and use that tag for the month. Serverspy will follow that unique name for the month.
You might want to use a certain tag for games where you are going for the big score.

first place on ALL servers? if there isnt a player on all servers on the first place, what happens then?
You just need to get first place on any of the 3 servers.
Then you get a reserved slot on all servers for a month.

I understand that but what i dont get is how people who play less and get less points are above people who play more and get more points...
perhaps its HOW you play not HOW LONG you play =)
To be honest I am puzzled with the scoring system.
I am testing it at the moment by playing with a tag on conquest / Northern strike and scoring highly in those games. After about 20 games with medals I will stop and check the ranking.
I think it is the overall quality of your play. I'll let you know.

Perhaps we should have a minimum time on a server rule to stop someone with a flucky lucky round taking the ticket?

If you add a tag then its like starting all over again. Its basically average score per min that is looked at in the scoring system. We are not sure how many games you have to play to register it but 4 or 5 should be enough. Only thing is: if you have 4 or 5 very high scoring rounds then stop and take the tag away you will go very high in the rankings with the tag but if you stop playing then you will not stay there for long as you drop down the rankings the less you play but its a good way to get there quickly without playing too much and is good to change tag if you have bad rounds with another tag.

Thanks C-Zap.. so there is a flaw in the ranking system.. so if i add a tags play 4 or 5 rounds get top place... thats is better than ppl playing 20+ hours.. to be honest i think it stinks lol
Yeah we will need to set a minimum hours of play and will be looking at the score for the whole of October.
We have till the end of the September to finalise the rules.

Yeh its a pretty rubbish ranking system i think it should be highest score in say a week but that's too sensible.

Dont care I'll take my chances in the play ground and with a bit of luck I'll still get a good game thats not to say I don't like the stat thing I do but I do think its a bit unfare how its worked out If any thing it should be done over three weekends that way those who have the same time to put in have the same chance as apposed to someone like me who put a lot of hours aweek in

The admins have been discussing this and the ranking system is poor.
We may be looking at the person that has played the longest on each of the servers.
So for all you high scorers out there, it will not make a difference. Good or bad we are looking for dedication.
The longer you play, the more chance of winning you have of winning.

So much time and so little to do. Wait a minute. Strike that. Reverse it.
It is the start of the month and that means if you want that reserved slot, get yourself on the server (the longer you play, the more chance of winning). Remember this applies to Titan, Suez and Conquest and NS servers.
The player who has spent the most time in the server gets the reserved slot for the next month. That player will also have to be a forum member. So you have until 31Oct to register. 3 reserved slots will be given away.

when you are there and dont do anything, you get kicked after few minutes BUT just press and do something in your keyboard (so that the key does not stop being pushed) and you always do something but you can go afk lolololol
sry for bad english and NO this is NO cheat xD this is just cheating punkbuster afk-rule =D dont delete this post or report it for anything or dont kick me from the forum or even ban me from the servers <.< i once did that when i went to eat BUT just for 10minutes and i played with my whole clan =)
sry =) but i want to tell you every glitch or something like that about bf =) then you know how to handle it and do something against the players then
It's ok we know about this one. If they wan't to do that then that's fine. They must have dedication to sit and change after every round and they won't get any enjoyment out of the game for a month.
no i mean when they go to toilett or go out or go to eat or do something NOT AT the computer =) then they can do that =) so 24h online a day (or almost 24hours, because router restarts after about 24h *g*)
Opozzum - Well done for pointing these things out to everybody. Either keep these to yourself or pm an admin.
Anyway, you can only do that for one game. When the next game loads, you would have to do that again.
I check the console and can see players who are doing nothing. I will ban them. Its not worth it.

Like G- zap said... we can see the players who are idle and not scoring/killing and this will be taken into account.
but when you play as sniper you are most time idle... you shoot and reaload and shoot and reload =/ but you dont see enemies all the time

He just means you should have posted it in the admin section if you weren't sure or not at all.
Other people could get ideas you know.
Nope m8 not your picture. I'm saying, anybody can figure out that you just gotta move your mouse or click your mouse a little to reset the idle timer. ;)

hmm im wondering why you are giving some golden tickets xD when you see the server is full i would let the peeps there play their game =) its unfair kicking for admins... i know you pay for it but hmm i dont do it on our server too =)
and yes i know timeless is often full but every time i start i want to join our server or a timeless one and i always get a slot on any of these servers =D
so i think this golden ticked thing is a bit senseless lol
and yea btw how do you do this golden ticket thing? when the server is full, they have to ask admins if they can kick someone from the server but as soon as this happened there already some guys left the game =) so no need of this or the golden ticket.. but do what you want
