Anyone tell me how i got banned !:confused:

No. Perhaps you can tell us?
When? day time.. what were you doing when you got banned?
Were any of our admins in game at the time that you know of? was it the gibralter server or the CQ and NS server?
let us know and we can help sort this for you.

I got banned from the gibralta server on sunday. Dont know what happened. I dont know who was checking from admin, but i was not base-raping or using rdx, had just got a good conduct ribbon when the game crashed and since then have not been able to log into gibralta... it says i am banned by an admin desicion or for teamkilling excessively. i thought ff was off ! thanks for your time
the console says 'spamming grenades into PAC spawn site'

may have thrown two or three behind me as i ran away, but dont think this warrants a ban. I was protecting my outpost from attack

Thanks for your time, sometimes you do the odd thing in the game which may look as though you are spoiling the game play but is just a reaction to incoming fire !

Might have been me lol, I ban SO many people who ignore the no base rape warning. Please read these threads. If you understand and promise to comply then you will have the ban lifted.

most people dont pay attention to the little scroll warning on screen ...tbh Admin you should Give a warning ADMIN = WARNING "playername" Baseraping etc
then if they continue ..ban em ...rem not everyone speaks or even understands english ...alot of euro gamers are non english speakers .....
and not a lot register on here to use forums or read rules ..
but english is worldlanguage and you can even translate the serverrules before you join the server =)

The server rules are clear to read, but occasionally in the heat of the moment they are forgotten. What riles me up are the people who openly cheat and use glitches to gain points, but they are not stopped quickly enough. I agree that a warning should be flashed up before being banned outright. This will make people stop what they are doing (perhaps) if they dont, ban em !:roll:

To be honest there are TOO many people raping on Gibralter. As you see if people take the time to come to the forum and pologie the ban is lifted almost always. We find this is by far the esiest method to get decent players in the game.
1. As mentioned many players don't speak english so warning them is poinntless
2. Many players are nompties and would not stop anyway so there is no point in warning them
3. It says no baserape on the loading screen, repeats it in game consistently and is on our forum for all to read. How many warnings will you need?
But pauly is welcome to play again as he seems a decent sort and grenading into spwn areas is not likely to be a thing he considers again :)
We must be doing something right cause the server is the 3rd most popular BF2142 server in the world now.
can you vote for that or where do you know that from? the 3rd most popular in the world =) congrats for that btw

I would except Germans. Here in Germany english is the most important language after german itself. I think a lot of poeple can understand it very clearly. Another thing is that there is no german word for baserape we just use the english word.
stützpunktvergewaltigung could be the word in german =)
stützpunkt = base and rape = vergewaltigen/vergewaltigung =) but i dont think you would say that in german... i dont even think you would say that in reallife lol
