This week i've been housesitting for my mate coz he's gone on family hols to butins.
So i've had nearly week to play BF:bad company on his 42 LCD TV! :good1:
But after nearly a week playing it, i'm really dispointed.
Graphics are very good. Damage and destruction is awesome.
As are guns and mortars, guilded missiles etc.. And some well built multiplayer maps.
But squad play and teamwork are shockingly bad.
No commander, no squad leaders, no real teamwork. :(
There's only 24 player online and coz it's console servers ur put on a server with a free space (and no one seems to talk english on it. :lol:)
Your put in a squad with 4 other random ppl, it has voip build into the game, but the mics don't seem to work half the time which makes it hard to try and get ur squad working together.
As there's no squad leader, u just taking it in turns to spawn on each other.
Which is very annoying if the spawn guy is a sniper half way up a hill on the other side of the map. And it doesn't change person till he dies.
No way to kick anyone either. Playing earlier today, a guy on my team called 'teamkiller2' was running around knifing and shooting his own team for the whole game, he was on -270 before he got bored and left.
Now about 10 of my mates have PS3's and all have COD4.
(COD4 is a very gd game but the reason i didn't like it is there's no squadplay and small maps.)
I've been trying since BF:bad company came out to get my mates involed with it. (with no luck)
Telling them how BF games are awesome due to teamwork and squadplay.
After playing it, i'm pissed off how this important part of the BF games has really been negleted.
I know BF3 is due out sometime next year for PC but i hope that they do another BF on consoles and correct this.
Anyway, rant over! What u guys think?
