Hey guys, one of my clan mates showed me this the other day, and I figured I'd share it with you if any of you wanted to give it a try....
BF2 - Prooject Reality Mod
www.realitymod.com
A team at Black Sand Studios has put together one of the biggest game mod's ive ever seen, all for the purpose of making bf2 into one of the most true to life combat games around. It's real interesting what they did, its not just like a skin for bf2, it runs on top of it as complexly as windows runs on DOS. Check it out, hope you bf2 fans like it. I'm on the Battleforce training server alot, still getting used to it, lol. Check out the trailer about half way down their main page.

Yeah i played it and got bord real fast, the reason i like BF2 is its action pack, face to face fighing, but Project reality, is just the opposite, and got boring fast for me.

The only thing that i dont like is the way the spawn timers work, it varies from 10 sec - 5 min (5 min if you really screw up somehow)
I find Forgotten hope 2 a way bigger mod(since it is completly reskinned, resounded and re-aged, plus they are in buisness since Bf1942).The diversity of Units, vechicles, aircraft is imense (FH 1942 had over 300 diffrent vechicles.)
Also, they tend to combine fun with good gameplay and Realism.
and patch 2.15 is also soon released, all hail the tiger tank
I did enjoyed the Scimitar on PR.I only played one map, but i shot much stuff with it :tomato:

Yeh, and some maps are huge, 4 times bigger than original bf2 maps...
And the gameplay is really stretched far

Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooot
I can add that I have had the honor of playing on that 128 Player server..... It was awesome!!
A lot of noobs playing, people who should have played on training servers first, but I managed to find a squad with experienced players and it was awesome!
The maps are so huge that when playing on a 64 player server you feel so alone many times, but not now.. Always seeing movement.
One bug that occurred were the name tags... You dont usually see the nametags, but when you stay close with allies/squad members for awhile you see their nametags, this is so you dont have to check the map for friendlies and unknown movements all the time. B
But game is designed to have 64 name tags, so it ended up sharing 64 nametags with 128 players, meaning that some friendlies had a nametag and some didnt... That resulted in a lot of tk's...
But other than that, I am looking forward to an official release of this!
8 man squads also made it a lot more fun.

That's awesome! Finally a game with 128 players. Worth trying for :good1:
that game is tough, i tried it a few months back. the maps were so big with limited spawn options that it felt lonely.
the amount of lone wolves didn't help either, maybe they were just noobs like me not knowing what to do.
i gave up pretty soon, it's a good game but i'm too lazy to learn how to play it properly.

If you play with experienced players, you will have one of the greatest times :)
