Lolz.... had a lovely talk with tankster the other night and it made me remember all the good times back in BF2
How many of you played it?
What were ur fav maps?

Well i started same as everyone with liking karkand and playing it to death all the time...
later stages i loved dragon vallley, good large map with everything u need: two chopps per side, 2 planes per side and loads of merch on the ground.

I kinda miss these days, if any of you still play i might pull the thingy outta teh closet and game again. :)

Yeah i played over 800 hours.

Fave Maps:
1. Dragon Valley, cos each team had a chopper, so i was likely to get one, and its good for seatswitching on, so many easy targets.

2. Warlord, simply the best I/O map ever, had a clan server on it and all, loved it

3. Karkand was good, only when it was 30 players MAX.

4. Daqing Oilfields, Again its possible to get 2 choppers on ur team, big map, good for seatswitching.

I aint played for a good few month now, its still installed on my pc tho. Id be up for a game :D

i loved karkand and warlord especially the palace fights.
cubra dam was also nice imo. good for flying ;)

Definitely Karkland with ff off the roof jumping was fun. Used to like the Dam one second seat in the F-15 used to get me loads of kills.

1. Karkand on Datorbutiken with good Admins was lots of fun
2. Dragon

BF2 SF:
Warlord for sure ..
BF2 EF:
Midnight Sun
Harvest with the A10´s

There have been far too many matches on unranked servers - like Harvest i played mostly with friends on unranked servers.

Yeah, was one of the first Four star Generals and was able to sell my account to a German player for �250, unfortunately the guy that bought it got caught stat padding 3 month later and got the account reset LOL.

Some great times on BF2 still play it from time to time http://bf2s.com/player/70683288/ but since BF2142 came out I find it far more INF orientated and better fun. It's just a pity that a lot of the BF2 players did not give it a chance, i know a few of the BF2 players that have tried it have really enjoyed 2142

Both Great games in there own right

Best map pack by far was special Forces Ak47 against AK47.......Priceless

Well i got bf2 after i got 2142 so never really got into it much but did like that karkand map it was good crack so it was, would like to reinstall it one of these days and give it another bash. :)

Lol wtf saba, i thought wake was from 1942 Originally? ohwell,

I really like that swamp map, good for hiding out and sniping. I still prefer BF2 above 2142.
