Now today there has been another episode of the "I got killed sitting in the titan gun" thingy.
=GOD= jddread (or the like) came up shouting saying he'd been killed sitting in the titan gun and he demanded some justice.
Now, as we all know and some of us know better (chaoz, me) this doesnt necessarily have to be a glitch that was meant to be, more like a bug by ea.
However this goes for RDX.
He then told us (me and chaoz, again) that he was killed by a frag which is, imo even more worrying, cause it means there are ways to get in there or through there to kill someone..
How to identify and exterminate this new threat?

Good that you mentioned it Dread...it happened to me few times but i dont remember how i was killed while sitting in titan gun.
All i saw is...for example (Chaoz killed GR4YFOX)
But i dont know what weapon he used :|

yea well i didnt acutally mean this guy and jdread didnt seem to remember the name, unfortunately.
as I said, this has not necessarily be a glitch, it might well be an accident so whatever cases might come up i propose we treat them with a bit of caution.
i remember me being in trouble for such an accident and chaoz it seems has had some complications with it as well
just check battlerecorder now that it is switched on.
You might see a glitcher having several attempts at it.

It wasnt that dredd cudnt remember the name it didnt show up for him. im sure if he did get name he wud have said it to us. lets just hope it was a freak thingi but if it starts reg its goin to be a pain watching hours of br files :-(

Remember if they blow up your Titan core and you happen to be on one of the Turrets at the time they get those kills as well, so if all the turrets are filled the player that blows up the core would get six kill plus the score for the titan core and titan attack points
Its possible someone podded into the hangar and threw a grenade at the titan guns.

it is possible for a numpty to pod on to the top of the titan ( while shields are up, and The shield is thin at the top) land on or near the central titan ports and roof guns & RDX or granade ya while you are sitting there, it comes up with no weapon name just "Killed"
Ive been done by this serveral times.
I try and spot the bugger & lay in wait
Hm...we all know that when the titan core is destroyed,players sitting in titan guns at that moment get killed...so....
What if im sitting in titan gun and one of the enemy players destroys one of our titan consoles...lets say console 3 or 4,it doesnt matter
Maybe i can get killed then too,just like when they destroy titan core
Could that be the answer ? :idea:?

yes all i can remember is sitting on titan gun and being killed with a frag ?
can not remember his name as i was a bit shocked he killed some one else at the same time ? all i can remember was he was a noob rank and his name began with a D but he did have more deaths than kills ? maybe he was just trying it out wot ever it was .
realy nice playing with u guys just stop trying for my tags :( ? i get like the german angry kid lol ..
stoned got them twice thats not nice lol
P.S no sheild was up or just about to go down . but it could ov been a bug but thats the first time a frag as got me on the titan guns lol

Could that be the answer ? :idea:?This is exactly what happened to me the other day. Sitting at a titan gun and console 4 gets taken out...and me with it. Just a glitch I suppose.

Oh btw, ive been killed serveral times while sitting in a titan gun aswell.
Just stupid enough to not make any screens:( and if i'm corrrect it didn't even gave me a name. And no i wasn't stoned.
i would also like to say i was on titan guns the other day and i was killed 4 or 5 times sitting on the guns

right right ive done some research on empty servers on this area, the outcome of which are in the seperate admin faction.
Now it seems theres two ways to kill the gunners from the top deck, and both CAN be done by accident. Its all about placing RDX in the right, or wrong, respectively, place.
So one kill can easy be forgotten about, imo.
If its more than once you should go for the name and shout it, before they get away.
Its not so very much a thin line between accident and incident, so be watchful.
It all should be fine if you have a couple of timeless boys protecting the top deck

well to be honest yesterday i was near one of the inner shields ( the one to go blow up the consoles) of the enemy titan and some guy put rdx bombs on the shield from the inside when i went close to the shield he blew it up and i died so something similar could be what happened with the turrets. thing is the people sitting down controlling the turrets are quite far away from the shield and the explosion wont reach that range. also you should try throwing an rdx bomb from underneath the seating for the turrets in the hall to go to the consoles and see if anything happens to the guy up top because usually in the titan bullets seem to go through the walls the ones of the engineer turrets . Not really sure if wat im saying makes any sense :p hehe but though i should give my views

yeah dont get too close to the shields in 3 r 4 as you can get blown up thru them with rdx.
ye thats been a glitch from day one ?

true.. i just remembered that it was a frag but unfortunately i didnt find any way to see the frag go thru the deck..
saba as far as im concerned i dont think that the glitchers who go to the enemy hangar use rdx but knifes instead... happened to me before
i now think that it could be a glitcher who hides in the walls under the titan aa..
but in that case and in the others, sure enough you should get a name...
i wouldnt know since i never sit in the titan guns once the shileds go down...
keep on telling me when soommin happens ill get to the bottom of this
