Tonight the server has crashed either at the end of a round or in the middle and at the end of it all Both teams and myself have really wasted two or more hours and nothing to show for it, well no points and it also happend this afternoon, is there any way of getting the scores or points lost through game crashes? the server resets and it has happened several times today can anyone shine some light on this for me please, Thanks in-adavance and I'll see'ya in the play ground tomorrow lol lol!;) :p :p
i think you dont lose your points then when you get kicked or server crashes you get the pins and points for this round, so dont worry i think everything is good =)
You do loose you points most of the time, i know this from experience. :)
I remember been on a high point round (200+) points to be exact, but the server crashed and i lost every point it's happened more than once, but unfortunately it's just one of those things. :(

Are we talking Suez 2. I noticed it was crashing several times yesterday although at one point every Timeless server went down.

no it was suez 1.. we completed 1 match in 3-4 hours.. every other game crashed...
I think there were network issues last night... had a joke with ashoof that it was him messing but my ping never recovered last night and i had to quit until very early hours UK.
All the timeless servers went down within a short space of time as i was trying to join full timeless servers at one point, then they were all empty.
suez 1 crashes often during the match =(
hey dont you get higher ranks WHILE playing? sure so i dont think you lose your points, you just keep them even when the server crashes
crashing again today... getting unplayable

Network shmekwork who cares they don't I lost 3-4 hours of my gameing life to crashes I may as well have been in bed lol lol!
well server seems to be fine i also hard restart the server to assure it is running smoothly but ill have alook as well suze 1 glbtra and CQ server in one box suez 2 and NS and titan on the other box

I got major lag this morning, and then punkbuster kicked me for it! I was just about to take out a group of enemies as well! Actually, that does seem to happen a lot to me, it crashes just as the enemies heads are directly in the crosshair...

Strange... that does sound like a graphics issue. What spec is your cpu and gfx? and the settings you run the game on? If you have got a low spec machine you may get lag during explosions etc. Try turning down these in game/OS settings.... Resolution. Antiailiasing. Anisotrophic Filtering. Any Shading and Lighting settings. You will have to play around with some or all these settings to get a balance between performance and quality. If you'd like to make sure its not a performance issue then start with ALL settings at minimum then raise each setting step by step each time you play, until you find the sweet spot. This will also help peeps learn about the 'weight' of each setting. Hope this may help someone. ;)

My CPU is 2.3 Ghz and Gfz is 256mb, I'll try turning the setting down to basic but I think they may also be set to minimum

The amount of on-board memory on a graphics card is no good indication of the power of your graphics card m8 although more is better ;)
What is the model of your graphics card if you know ?
ie. Nvidia 6800gs or ATI 1300 pro. The power of your graphics card will be determined
by many things, including its architecture, the core speed of the GPU and the memory
speed for example. ;)

Well I have core 2 duo E6700 @ 3.2 and GX2 + 2gig of ram and I know its not comeing from my end although I know you can loose packets and if you restart your PC after u cold start that can help or reset your router but at the end of the day there's no getting around it has to be the server and if thats not it EA? but if people keep on shooting at the titan with AA guns conastantly the game sometimes ebb's an sways on wanting to crash, these "NOOB's" who constantly keep their finger on the trigger of the "AA" and are really looking for a lucky pot shot when the shields are down are killing the game but they are and the game goes all laggy well if there were admins on all day the mis-use of them the person in question should be warned then kicked :roll: :roll: :roll:
