I recently purchased Norther Strike and the upgrade etc are working fine. The only problem i have with this is that when i connect to a NS server, BF kicks me and says i am currently running a different version of BF and should revert to the correct version before trying again. This is with all servers, not just timeless NS. Can anyone shed some light on this problem please? i have NS but havent experienced the new maps or anything :(

Have you updated Punkbuster? I think i had a similar problem until i updated PB. ;)
Yea i think i have a fairly recent PB. Ill update again just to be 100% sure.
Have you run the latest patch again after upgrading to ns could be the version of 2142 is different to the northern strike version you do need to patch both versions . Might be worth repatching with the latest patch now so it patches both ns and 2142

This is the classic patch case I think.
Install BF2
Run 1.25 Patch
Install NS
Run 1.25 patch again.
Always works :)
I guess this will call for a reinstall then. Thanks for all the help guys. As an update, i did update PB and nothing seemed to change. Will have to try your solution Catziggy, thanks again everyone
