View Full Version : NS Unlocks problem
Hi i have a problem with my NS unlocks, few weeks ago my Bf2142 want to start and i have unistall and later install it again and patched to 1.5
.I can play NS with all maps, and with my 3 unlocks (infantry sensor, sniper decoy and the radar granate).
But i cannot unlock the other things, i´ve got 2 points for unlocking but cant use them. All Unlocks on the top going back to grey, have anyone a idea what i can do?
hmm i don't think you can play NS maps since you can't unlock other stuff ... try re-install the game , install NS booster pack , install patch 1.5 , install booster pack manually , install patch 1.5 again

I think u should reinstall as in the following Description :
1. Deinstall complete Bf2142 ( restart Computer after done )
2. Install BF2142
3. Install Patch 1.4
4. Install NS
5. Install Patch 1.4 again
6. Finaly install Patch 1.5
This should work. It helped to KegNeggs, me and most of all Players who asked for Problems like this.

Ok i had take few minutes, for this on this special day. I had completely deinstall bf2142 and northern strike. Restart and install first bf2142, than patch 1.5. Downloaded NS again on the ea downloader and patched with 1.5 again.... same problem.
Ok another round of uninstall/restart and install, this time first 1.4 and ns after. patched 1.5 at last and its worked but only on my first log in. I was trying loggin again, and the problem is back.... :-( dammit

the Problem is that Patch 1.5 has a Bug with NS. They forgot to fix the NS Problem in Patch 1.5. I had that also, as i told u must install Patch 1.4 after BF2142 installed then install NS, then Patch again with 1.4 and and finaly u can Patch with 1.5.
If u install BF2142 and then Patch with 1.5 u will ever have the same Problem. Beleave me.
TRY IT WITH THE EXACTLY WRITTEN DESCRIPTION AND IT WILL WORK. I KNOW ITS A LONG WAY WITH PATCHING WITH 1.4 BUT ITS THE BEST WAY.
u maybe have to update Punkbuster manualy after u finaly patched with 1.5 because there is also a Bug in it with that. I had the same Prob after first Login. Restart Computer after PB update, it should work then

to raz, trust me i was goin nuts all this time like 4 rounds of uninstalling and reinstlling.
do it exactly like written above and im almost sure it will work!
