OIL / Petrol...
The price keeps goin up and up, i think this is probably the key
reason the world economy and many countries on the whole is
nearing (or already IN) recession....
Its even affecting batman....

but you´re right hornet.
i have a bmw 118d and payed almost 80€ for a full load of fuel.
this is a f*cking disgrace.
with raising the prices they are fast but when it comes to a descent the companies have
muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch time.

you are totally right it is a complete disgrace.
what the goverment has recently had to start concidering is that the UK consumer is much more vunrable to a sudden jump in the fixed price of oil from opec. and this is the real problem, opec screwing us over.
this is why more and more things are getting increasingly expensive to buy so fast, cost of transportation etc..
the economy issue is more to do with with the American marketplace than anything else, they have been close to meltdown now for somtime and it wont be long before they go into a really bad recession. this is effecting us but not as bad as the media makes out. unless you want to buy a house that is..
wtf.... batman in a smart car, i thought he'd be smarter.....

In the UK It takes around 4 to 6 weeks to see a rise in petrol when the price of oil
has risen, yet i think it takes 8 to 10 weeks to see the price of petrol drop
following a drop in oil prices.
Similar story in the budgets etc, if they are taking money from us, its
effective at midnight, if they're giving us something, its from 2015 lolz

Here in uk its dropped a little (petrol) We were paying up to about £1.24
in local garages, i paid £1.19 at the time and now its around £1.15.
So a drop of around 4p (aug 2008 )
