During gaming etc you may wanna check your CPU temps...

Lots of CPU temp monitoring programs out there, here is a decent

Small footprint program, very useful for checking your CPU Temps

and also In-game too.

I think it favours intel cpu's.

I'm using Intel Q6600 and it gives me 4 temps and my CPU speed etc.

Real Temp don't support my processor AMD Athlon 64 X2 :(
Coretemp works fine :)
