saying on wich server you are banned and when you last played on may help the admins to sort out your issue.

Yes my ingame name is Cypher-dk, allso Cypher-dk85 and cyph-dk. Last i played on one of your servers is was Gibraltar (sorry if spelled wrong). and it was 2 or 3 days ago

I think I banned you for spawn killing. The rules are clear on the server, despite my on screen warnings.

Right, may i ask then why a guy spawn camping didnt get banned then? He wasnt actually running arround killing but he stood at a spawn area with that guarding gun down and killed everyone spawning. Not to complain about it, i just find it a bit odd.

And i dont actually read the chat in BF2142, all messages are going to fast for me to read them, plus only 3 lines makes it harder for me to see. So i am sorry that i did not see your warnings.

Regarding you witnessing another player you claim was blatantly "spawn Killing" yet nothing was done about it! Surely you can understand that it simply isn't possible for any admin to see everything going on in a game all of the time?

They can only deal with rule violations that they personally witness and can then act accordingly, or alternatively they can act on reports or complaints given by other players on the server who are witnessing rule violations! It's not odd at all really, perfectly normal infact!

If you witnessed another player breaking the server rules, why didn't you ask for an admin at the time and explain to them what the issue was as it was happening? An admin could have then dealt with it at the time, could they not? Mentioning it now in a post where you are asking to be unbanned for the exact same violation no less, doesn't help anyone does it m8?

If you would still like to be unbanned at this juncture, I would suggest starting with a full apology, and in addition your assurances that you won't repeat your violation of the server rules again the in the future.

Finally, whilst it can be difficult to keep up with the "server chat" in game, it's not completely impossible!! Also if you feel you have missed a message intended for you but had no time to read it fully before it scrolled off the screen, you can always use the "Tilde Key to bring up the Console and use Page up or Down as required" to scroll through previous chatter!

Well as i wrote above i cant really read the chat, allso im to busy trying not to get killed ;)
And finally, i dont know what your clan tag is so i have no idea of when an admin is on the server

you can write 'ADMIN : whatever the problem is in the game chat' or you can also use the shoutbox you see on this forum. if an admin is around, he will be able to help you out :smile:

What difference does it make what Clan tags any of the Timeless admins use?? Or, are you suggesting that if you knew an admin wasn't present you'd willingly break the server rules, but if you could see that an admin were present you'd act accordingly??

It matters not what Clan tags are in use, some admins have none, others have Clan tags, but they don't state "Timeless".

None of what you say still explains why if you witnessed a player violating the server rules, you didn't "ASK FOR AN ADMIN TO HELP AT THE TIME"! If one is present, they will do what they can to help you or deal with the issues at hand.

The fact remains that this still doesn't make it "impossible" to read the server chat. How do you think the admins manage to read it, and play their game too?? The admins are no different to you at all, they want nothing more than to enjoy a game of BF2142 just as you do I can assure you m8 :)!

I also note you seem very reluctant to simply apologise for the reason you were banned which "might" (and I emphasise "might" now at this stage) see the admin who placed a ban upon you reconsiderig it, or a senior admin considering your request to have the ban removed!!

If you want the ban removed, how hard is it to simply apologise for what you did, end the matter, and then be permitted to return to the Timeless Servers again???

Hmm, i didnt know that, im not that much of a hardcore BF gamer to know that, i mostly play MMO's but come on BF when i feel the need to shoot at something :P
