Hey. Have you guys at timeless any plans of putting up some Battlefield 2 server?
hi m8 we have done so many other Server crysis .Cod4 bf2 but no one was botherd to fill so we shot it down

I still play this quite a bit, about 75% on 2142 the rest of BF2. Does anybody else still play BF2 ?
Just out of interest ashoof how full are the other non 2142 boxes ?
well thay were not attended so i switch them all of
we have tried a few times to get BF2 going but it never worked.
I would spend hours in there to fill it up but not enough people joining.

i would get on timeless bf2 if i could get my bf2 working (lost cd key). lol

The only way we could get a BF2 server up and running nearly always full was to run Wake Island with an occasional guest map. We also had a no bombing/artillery rule for the carrier and no bombing the island, no bunny hopping. The server was very popular because of these rules but the other maps did not attract players.
I am not sure that the server would suceed now although I still play it from time to time, I would play more if I could find a well admined server.

yeah wake would be good but strike at karkand is good too

I play sometimes BF2.Normal maps and special forces maps, warlord and karkland are my favourite...

would be fun to see strike at karkand for 2142. heh that´s the only map i played in bf2. it was like gibraltar for 2142, the best map for conquest.

Yea, karkland in bf2142, sounds good.
Also warlords would be nice in 2142, there is that huge temple where i always was. Nice inside of the building battle: 3 floors, entrance hall which covered all floors, lots of open windows (grabling hook was nice for these :) , also access to roof. Two flags inside of the building and one in the yard...
you guys should try spcial force the night maps ohhh thay are sweet for some reason SP take my minde in to difirent stage mahahah

yeah karkland would be awesome in bf2142 (it's my favorite map,) and warlord would be awesome too (my favorite sf map)

yea ive been thinkin about bf2 maps in 2142 as well
karkand comes to mind, obvious one but dunno if it was sso much fun in 2142..

then warlord.. or sf stuff in general would be nice, night maps and grapplers / zips.

Idk, Sharqi Peninsula is a pretty damn cool map aswell.

but could u imagine these maps as titan maps? no... and without good old assault choppers theres no fun.. except perhaps gunships :lol:
ah well
as long as timeless dont have a bf2 server i guess its not worth installing it anew

Hm, well the BF2 engine and BF2142 dun go together anyways i think.
But stil i think BF2 has some better graphics than 2142 weird enough.

I'm a 2142 tournament coordinator for this site http://www.tournamentgamingworld.com and we have converted most if not all BF2 maps to use in our 2142 tournament.
If anybody want to try out a map or 2, then I can put some on FileFront for you:good1:
