Hello,
I have been a player of 2142 from just about since it came out and am one of the two clan leaders for the 13th legion, this morning about 6am GMT I was banned from Timeless Suez 1.
around 5 mins before a person claiming to be an admin threatened to kick someone who was clearly glitching with turrets and walls etc, and he indeed did so. I wondered if perhaps I was kicked accidentally as part of that clear out.
I have ran and owned servers with PB streaming and in my latter days used to be knows as ISK-UA part of cheating-death the old CS anti hack as a senior member of United Admins.
Suffice to say I think my score of 34 with 15 kills to 14 deaths did not warrent a ban.
I'd be interested to know how and why I was banned but I understand that mistakes happen.

Did you get a message from punkbuster or anything when you were kicked?
Server admins will check the log for you and sort this out. I am sure if you were accidentaly kicked they will reinstate you or if they felt you needed the ban they will explain why.

you wont see his name coz he was using some sort of glitch. His name was blank but when i clicked on the vote tab or add buddy his name appeared. I banned him for using a name glitch or words similar. There were a lot of votes on this guy but i could not see why, i was playing hard too and never noticed his name missing til late in the game.
Foxibillio if you were not using a glitch or cheating in anyway, why were there so many votes against you? you were top at the time too and i smelled a rat so i had to look at you a bit... then i noticed your name was missing. Can you also explain this?
Also i would like to say here that there were a lot of cheats in suez 2 around this time and a few games before. I caught 2 in enemy titan box, they killed me several times each with sentry etc, i managed to self confirm 2 in box but there were around 4 or 5 at one point. there was even a guy called alpha?? actually typing messages telling people he was gonna show em how to do it. I had to swap sides a couple of times too to catch these guys. There was a player who kept killing everyone with demo's in titan guns too. he did it once and i warned him, he did it again i banned him.
We cant allow these cheats to run riot on timeless, if admin see them they have to make fair judgement on these players and be rid of them if need be !!

I am hoping G-ZAP will be kind and let me help on Suez 2 as the other two Titan servers have a good coverage of admins. Perhaps Hornet could put in a kind word for an old f*rt.

Our clan tag is «1³th» It was this before EA's update made it display incorrectly and it is the same now, If you see this as a reason to Ban me and all of my clan who have and do play regularly on all of your servers then so be it, it is after all your server. I did not see any votes against me personally but I never take any notice of them. I was not glitching in-game and the fact that EA's update made our clan tag vanish when at the top of the score board is not our fualt, it was supposed to be fixed in the last patch and is a known issue for anyone using extended ascii in there tag.
I take it that the ban is to remain? and the reason is Name violation and being voted against? A little harsh, but again its your server so I will leave it up to you.
You mean that you didnt realise that have No Name in game causes problems.
We have had many problems with No Name Players and they are banned.
You cannot play on the server with no name as this makes other players think you are cheating. Maybe change your tag until the problem is fixed.
I'll check out your clan but it was Hornet that banned so we will wait to see what he says.

I genuinely did not know that the tag caused so much trouble as I have had it for 6 or 7 months without incident but I take on board your comments and will instruct our clan to change the tag to standard ascii in light of this.

Was this a generic ban or just this server?
If it was just a server ban then maybe we can view what happens on other servers.
I REALLY wish in all respect that people that glitch, base rape, use hidden coding in their clan tags would NOT, I repeat NOT, treat server admins as having only a small IQ.
Maybe this is not the case but I always sigh when i see things like this. Lets see what happens on other servers :)

I see.. I have posted above the details why i banned. Usually the no-name players indicate something dodgey. If you are aware of this fox then surely it would be in ur clans interests to modify ur tags? If by what i can see its down to just your tags causing the issue then i would say this does not justify a ban but highlights an issue and an issue known to yourselves too. I'd like to leave the decision to Ashoof on this one as to me foxabilo does look to have a problem with his clans tag. You may get issues or may of had issues with other servers, so it would be wise to change your tag perhaps? If this is down to an EA patch then i apologise for the ban but it remains a bit dodgey you not changing your tags m8.

Yes I have posted on our forum for all members to change their tags in light of this, and I have changed mine to plain ascii too.

Thank you hornet. I think we have a new friend and a trustworthy player now. We will ask him for his help in identifying bad eggs if he sees them please maybe?
Help us out and post any screenshots of glitchers etc if you can.
