hi,
last night i was playing fall of berlin conquest mode... everything was fine until one guy appeard who killed my whole team without getting hit once!
usually enemies are marked in red - he had a white mark and didn´t appear on the map, even when the uav was directly above him!
i asked him via chat what kind of cheat this is... his reaction was to stand in front of me and let me fire every kind of weapon at him... now guess - he didn´t take any damage. then he took out his combat knife, went back about 20 meters and killed me with a loud bang.... in the chat i could read that he killed me with his knife :confused:
have you ever seen anything like that? and if so - what the hell is that #%*ing cheat?

I have Never seen it.
It sounds like you were up against The Terminator or one of your team dressed up as the enemy.
Or God ?

I saw something like this in BF2 You can change the script to make your killing range of your knife a lot further. The bang might just have been a coincidence or he might have adjusted the splash area damage of the knife.
Secondly you can alter the x-y-z location of your soldiers hit points. Imagine the servertracking a bullet you fire. If the bullet passes through the enemy's x-y-z location on the map it registers a hit. The location is slightly different to what you see for game mechanics. Its hard to program 3d polygons to coincicide with hit locations I think. If you alter your hit location to be 20 metres above what people see your virtually impossible to hit.
Punkbuster catches ALL changes to script files so this is a new one. Might be an extra hack like MSX or something.
If he managed to play on PUNKBUSTER tracked games this is bad news.

actually it really felt like fighting against the terminator... hehe
i saw the guy again this morning, still flagged white... on this server FF is off... i thought maybe he manages somehow to be handled like one of your team by the system? just a thought, because someone killed him by driving him against a wall (sry for my english).
i really didn´t smoke that much weed :mrgreen:... his name was on the scoreboard on rank 1 - no wonder!

i didnt happen on a timeless server, i was just confused about this strange guy
Will keep eye out for him but i doubt he has to restict himself to freindly fire off servers lolz.

at least i wasn´t playing with my mainchar... would have been annoying ;)
sounds like the diamond catalyst hack ..iv been snooping around to check for tell tale players who use certain hacks etc ....this one is extremely annoying ....

by the way... i didnt want to piss anyone off with this thread - but this was far too much for a simple glitch.
was just curious :)
Last time i checked OkayBenDover was ranked #1 with a knife.
