I was wondering if anyone can help, a friend and myself are creating a clan but I was wonder what is the best way to get a forum website up and going as im quite new to all this and would like some suggestions.
humm since we have gone throw bulding a website and spend the time and money let go throw some shop list
1- you need a a domaine name where you will register your new website likw (www.3granny.com and most of the server provider do you can have them shaerd or deticated as well www.timelessgaming.co.uk on a deticated server

2 - after you do that you need to bulid your web site now this is another big world thar are so many options you can have custom bulid your website to you liking and there is a free tamplates you can have and in the case of www.timelessgaming.co.uk <-------- i have bought a tamplates from http://www.surreal-media.com/templates/by_release_game.php?release=GT27
and if you google bf2142 tamplates i think you will finde gazillion of them
Remeber that this tamplet have the very basick thigs you need to buy additonal modlues like our team speek IRC ,etc and the fourm
www.timelessgaming Forum is a vBulletin having the same theam as the web site that is additional cost as well
now after you buy all this stuff you need some one to bulid all this stuff for you if you need some one let me know i know some one who can do it for you i think he is good and charge fair for building all this stuff he is very very pro guy
to mix and match all this takes time so take you time bulding a web site other wise fixing it later will cuz you alot of issue data base recovery ,combatibility
i persoanly belive to do it right or not to do it

If anyone was going to set up a website or a clan after using i would highly recommend invisionfree. It is easy to use and simple to change to get an effective and polished design, to check just click the link under the sig, cheers D35ertFox for directing me to the site.

I have used it in the past and found it very easy to admin and I got another guy to do the skins but it also seems easy to do. But wow you really took it to the next level, very good job and best of all it's Free :D
I see your in the ESL, is the bf2142 league any good, I have only played cs and css in the esl

Yeah i have my troops in training in clanmod at the moment which is bring there game up another level as it is all about headshots, got a few games coming up and starting a league in combat revolution, also got around 5 American clan members so getting ready to set up a clan team in the states clanwars. Will keep you posted.

Its lethal, 5v5, INF only, first tire unlocks only and it actually comes up when you get headshots so if you go into a clan league unprepared you will get owned as the players are all crack shots, ive also noticed also that once you start on a normal server after a few rounds of clanmod you own and its not with the Voss, clanmod all you can use as assault is the Krylov or the Scar11 and now i have a new appreciation of the scar11 fantastic weapon. You guys should give it a go but oh i forgot your clan doesn’t like to put themselves in a firing line. But honestly you should give clanmod a go it's great crack.
As for training, yeah the member do go on clanmod to get their skill up as what’s the point in competing if you expect to lose before you have even entered the first match

I don't know much about clanmod either. What is it and how does it work?

It been made for clan gaming and runs on unranked punkbuster protected servers, it a cross between BF2142 and Counter Strike Sorce, you can check it out here: http://www.bf2142.se/clanmod/

InvisionFree is going out of date--you might want to try http://www.Forumotion.com instead. They generally look nicer and are easier to use.
