From this survy I can see that I can configure the board for 1220 x 1024
That means wider sides etc
Thanks all
Yep i think most people live above SVGA/XGA nowadays and i guess most gamers
have a CRT or TFT with resolutions above 1024x768 and screens above 15"
ROFL, Ok a woman's opinion:- Size definately matters when it comes to certain things, ;)
But I also agree with Dave...Girth also very important! lol
I'm running at 1680 by 1050 on 20inch laptop screen :)

I'm running at 1680 by 1050 on 20inch laptop screen :)
is it already running again?
aha! what´s girth please tell me. i don´t know the word.
the definition of girth is 1. The distance around something; the circumference.
2. Size; bulk: a person of large girth.
I won't go into detail as to what they are referring to as Girth but i'm sure you can guess :)
is it already running again?
It's only the casing that is damaged, luckily the laptop turns and works, still got to have it repaired tho.

on my black glossy samsung lcd tv of 40"
could switch to 800*600 if this give 100 hz but must enjoy just the size :)
lol, most of u have realy a homecinema
I m on 1280 x 1024 on my 19" TFT Acer
i got a new 22" monitor so my resolution is now 1680 x 1050 which is nice playing 2142 everything is much bigger :)
12' x 6' Resolution at max for a 512Mb 8600GTS.
No, that is not a joke.
I picked up a couple of theatre projectors from a site we were redeveloping.
Linked one into the graphic card and sat about 20 feet away whilst projecting the screen onto a wall.
Played Halflife2 DM, TF2 and BF1942. You should have seen my mates faces when they came round for a LAN party.
To be honest, although you get an initial wow factor, playing games was not as easy as you may think. The picture was slightly grainy and the damn projector made more noise than you could possibly imagine. In addition, the room needed to be in complete darkness and you could not walk anywhere without somehow blocking part of the projection.
Had to be done even though I won't be repeating it.
I normally use a 19" TFT but would like a 24". Spent some time at the last i series event drooling over some of the larger monitors. Too expensive for me at the moment.
NB. I have a projector for sale. Needs an ampitheatre to be used efficiently.

The only problem is that i'm poor and cant afford to update my graphics cards at the minute. im still running two nvidia 6600's over a SLI bridge (im soooo behind the times its silly)
