Can’t you like complain to your server provider for the lag, because I have a +/-20 ping and I’m shaking around like some old man whit Alzheimer.
Its probably laggy for you because for Ashoof to be able to play he can not set a ping limit, otherwise he would get kicked all the time, his servers are U.K based he isnt, if you hadnt noticed :D
Server machine is actually built by Ashoof and is damn good spec, maybe he will post the specs for you all.

i have a very very long discustion with some of the best game service provider and non even come close to the spec of this server and yet i am upgrading it with some of the latest tec out ther
about this first let me tell you that this server have the best spec for All the server out ther it is custom bulid for me 2 orptorn 4 cpu 4 gb ram latest Tyan server mother bord and 2x RAPTOR X 150 RAID 0 hard drive and the server provider confirm that this is the best LATANCY server that he ever seen cuz no one provide such spec
ping and lag have nothing to do with game play only players with high ping well suffer as thay see and shoot ghost hehehe
if you dont have a problem with smaller server that meens your pc could not handle big server so much goin on with 48 64 players
try to lower the reslotion and see how it gose
if you want ill can drop the ping to say 50 ms and you well still have the the same issue let me know and i can prove it
i have done this so many times :)
any by the way can i know what is your pc spec ???

Nope we where all noticing the lag badly today, even kept getting DC from it, or "losing connecting" but not lagging out of the game, and very often.

some time lag caused by game spy server cuz that have all the ranking system of the player and as far connection lost it is from EA master server thats why you have to log in with your acount al over again
Im surprised anyone still uses gamespy, i junked it years ago, for smaller and far more useful xfire.

I just use Xfire mainly so my girl can get to me when im online gaming :p. I never use it to launch servers.
I still use gamespy, even when the servers are hard to get onto, in which case i set severbusy redial to like needing 10 people to join, start up bf myself get the server ready on history or search, when i see a spot alt tab and easy.

Don't worry about that, it seemed to be an EA master server problem. EVERY server was affected by it.

No i mean recently, when just playing timeless, you would be flying and get that message for a few seconds.

Isn't the lag caused by the AA gun spamming? I was on the Timeless Titan server last night and the titans were lined up end to end so when the shileds went down the enemy AA gunners had a good view of the whole of the back/roof of our titan - so they continually spammed it and the lag was terrible.

Believe me nothing wrong whit my system did a clean Install 2 months back, Lag on the server is most of the time based on some nubby that keeps firing (spamming) the titan AA on the enemy titan shield.

The game engine is simply pants while multiplayer online.... Pity we cant reduce the lag we feel by simply disablin the AA's when within a given range of enemy titan etc... there are other things that cause lag in game (I mean in game issues not, PB, gamespy, timeless server, pings, internet, issues with our pc's etc) The game engine design is esp at fault... cant keep blamin the server guys. Ash has got a top rig and beats most servers hands down aaaaand he's about to launch an eeeeeven better rig !!
