i have apple tiger running for years now without any problems at all. i never had to setup the pc and i´m really really satisfied with it. i´ll upgrade to leopard in a few month perhaps but no need to hurry. tiger for me is the best ever invented.
apple ftw.

oh yeah i forgot. i have a desktop pc running xp for playing battlefield only. this works most of the time. sometimes it crashes but that´s ok. i mean hey that´s microsoft. lol

Vista 64 bit home premium. Bit buggy but I like it and M$ will sort out the issues with it. All of there releases have had slow starts. Vista is no different.

My PC at home is dual booting with XP and Ubuntu7.10 (Gusty Gibbon).
I really like Ubuntu the only problem that any Linux Distro has, is the gaming side. If they sorted that out (apart from using WINE or another such application) I would only be running with that.

My laptop which is ancient has Windows ME. 800Mhz P3 CPU and 64Mb RAM. Yes thats right 64Mb of RAM. I know it's hard to believe that once long ago M$ made an OS that ran on so little. Vista. No good without 2Gb RAM.
But I'm trying at the mo to put on DSL Distro but so far no joy.

Long winded I know but thats what I have running.

Then apple is not the way surely?

Although we all hate MS for many of its curses, we would not all be here

without it. Although i would like to give Leopard a try. I was curious about

comparing Vista, the latest offering from MS and Apple's Leopard...

Searching for Vista vs Leopard in Google i found this....

I got Vista 64 Premium and yer it is a little buggy at the moment as was pointed out, but I like it. 64 bit is the way to go I think. Reminds me..need to get another 2gb ram.
As far as Windows 7...I would say nearer 2012, lol.
